one week later.

'Hey...' Nick says softly as Demi's eyes flicker open and he glances down at her.

'Hi. How long have you been here?' She asks glancing over at Tobias who's still fast asleep.

'An hour or so.' He replies causing her to smile slightly.

'Watching me sleep? Not creepy at all, Jonas.' She says. Lifting the covers slightly she smiles and gestures for him to get in beside her.

'Are you in pain?' He asks and she shakes her head.

'Not really. I'm a bit worried about our families coming.' She admits.

'What? Why?' He asks causing her to sigh.

'Well you've not even told your parents. We're just going to spring this on them.' She replies gesturing to Tobias.

'They'll be fine. They don't really have any other option do they?' He says.

'What if they hate me? What if think I've trapped you and don't want anything to do with Toby?' She asks.

'Then maybe I don't want them in my life. You and Toby are my family; you two are my priority now.' He replies kissing the top of her head.

'I need to shower.' She mumbles.

'Why don't I take Toby downstairs and you can go shower? Once you're done I'll make us all some breakfast?' He suggests and she nods her head.

'Is Kelsey awake?' She asks.

'Yep; well she was when I got here.' He replies.

'Okay.' She says quietly.

'What time are your family arriving, Nick?' Kelsey asks making her way into the living room where Nick is cradling ten day old Tobias against his chest.

'Around one, I think.' Nick replies.

'Do they know about Toby yet?' Kelsey asks and Nick shakes his head.

'No; I'm going to tell them when they get here.' Nick replies.

'Tell who what?' Demi asks making her way downstairs and into the room.

'My parents about Toby. What time are your parents getting here at?' He asks smiling as she instantly takes Tobias into her arms.

'12:30; I was thinking after the families have met him we could maybe introduce him on Instagram? I'm sick of staying in all the time.' She replies.

'We can do that.' He says and she nods her head.

'Where's my fur babies?' She asks glancing around the room.

'Back garden.' Nick replies. Smiling he watches as she keeps Tobias cradled against her chest as she makes her way to the back door; he knows the past ten days have been a big adjustment for both him and Demi but watching her it's clear she was born to be a mom.

'Hi, babies...' She says softly as both Batman and Ella run towards her.

'Will we go on a nice big walk later once the world knows about baby?' She asks.

'Eddie and the girls are just getting things settled in at the hotel... He's beautiful, sweetheart.' Dianna says smiling down at Tobias as Demi cradles him against her chest.

'Thank you. Do you want to hold him?' Demi asks and Dianna shakes her head.

'He looks pretty comfy. How are you feeling?' Dianna asks sitting down beside her daughter.

'I'm okay, I think. I'm just pretty tired.' Demi replies smiling as she runs her hand down Tobias' back. 

'I can't believe you had a baby.' Dianna admits and Demi laughs slightly.

'I can't quite believe I had a baby.' Demi replies.

'Where's Nick?' Dianna asks.

'At the store.' Demi replies.

'What's the matter?' Demi says softly as she smiles down at Tobias as he begins to fuss.

'Do you need anything?' Dianna asks.

'I'm okay. He'll settle down again in a minute.' Demi replies running her hand down Tobias' back.

'You're a natural.' Dianna says smiling as the baby instantly begins to settle down in Demi's arms.
