'Hey, you...' Nick says softly as he makes his way into the bedroom where Demi is sitting on the edge of the bed with Tobias in her arms.

'I'm sorry I was rude to your mom.' She mumbles and he shakes his head.

'Don't be. I'm not. She was so out of order and she's gone now. She should never have spoke to you like that.' He says sitting down beside her.

'She didn't have to go.' She replies.

'Yes she did. Until she realises what she did was wrong then she needs to stay away. Now why don't we introduce our little guy to the world?' He says and she nods her head.

'Okay.' She replies smiling.

'You do the honours.' He says passing her phone to her.

'I don't particularly want to show his face just yet.' She replies and he nods his head.

'That's perfectly fine. You post what you feel comfortable with and I'll just follow your lead.' He says. Keeping Tobias cradled against her chest with one hand she uses the other to quickly post a picture.

Placing her phone down beside her she rests her head on Nick's shoulder and sighs.

'I'm so bored.' She mumbles causing him to smile.

'Why don't we get out the house for a bit? Kelsey's still out and we've got the stroller now?' He suggests.

'That sounds like a good idea; we can maybe just go to babies r us or something. I want to pick some bits out for him but I don't want to get too sore.' She says and he smiles.

'Sounds good to me. Are you wanting to get changed or are you good to go like that?' He asks.

'I'll just quickly get changed.' She replies smiling slightly. She passes Tobias to him before making her way over to her closet.

'I was thinking we could maybe pick up some bottles to use with the pumped milk so you can feed him?' Demi suggests as they make their way into Babies R Us with Tobias fast asleep in his stroller.

'Yeah, that would be good and probably take some of the pressure off you.' Nick replies and Demi smiles.

'I was actually thinking you could maybe stay over a few nights and help with some of the night feeds?' She says.

'That would be great.' He replies. He picks up a basket and smiles as they begin to walk around the store.

'I still can't quite believe we have a baby.' Demi admits.

'It's crazy to think this time two weeks ago none of us had any idea how much our lives would change.' Nick says as they both glance down at the baby.

'Babies are so fucking expensive.' Nick mumbles causing Demi to laugh as they make their way back towards the car.

'I did warn you although I'm pretty sure he could've done without that $90 play gym.' She says stopping in front of the car. Reaching down she lifts Tobias out of the stroller and into her arms.

'Lets get you in the car, buddy.' She says softly.

'You wanting to head home now?' Nick asks as he places the shopping in the trunk.

'I actually don't. Can we go get cake or something? Remember that we cafe we found just before you went on tour? It done amazing cheesecake.' She says.

'Okay, lets go there.' He replies.

'I can't get him in; it's killing me.' Demi admits.

'I'll get him, babe.' Nick says. She passes Tobias to him and smiles as he kisses the top of her head.

'What you looking at?' Nick asks as he makes his way over to the table carrying a tray containing plates of cheesecake and two milkshakes.

'Just some of the comments on my post.' Demi replies smiling.

'What are people saying?' He asks placing the tray down on the table and sitting across from her.

'They're shocked understandably; Jessica Alba messaged me though.' She replies passing her phone over to him.

'That's nice of her.' Nick says passing the phone back to Demi who's already beginning to eat her cheesecake.

'Yeah; people are lovely.' She replies smiling slightly. She begins gently rocking the stroller with her foot as Tobias quietly whimpers.

'If only my parents had the same enthusiasm for us.' Nick says quietly.

'They'll come round, Nick. I don't know when and I don't know how but they will come round.' She replies.
