"Okay Ms. Paradise, everything came back normal." The doctor said, as he came back into the room, closing the door behind him. Me and August both breathed out a sigh of relief, feeling his arm wrap around my shoulder.
"The only thing I ask is that you still take it easy."
"I told you."
"Shut up."
I playfully pushed my hands against him, feeling his hands go down to my stomach from my lower back, caressing it with his fingers, which i already knew what he was indicating.
"Make sure you get rest as usual and you should be good to go. If those headaches come back again, do not hesitate to call me, okay?"
"Yes sir."
A small smile appeared on my face, feeling Augusts lips against my cheek, when he pulled me closer to him.
"Any other questions?" He asked, closing up the clipboard in his hand.
"Yeah." August stated, holding up his hand. "Is it safe enough to get her pregnant?"
A blush came across my face and a flustered feel formed throughout my whole body, seeing the Doc himself laugh and Aug's dumbass question.
"Yes sir." He chuckled and a goofy ass grn came across his face.
"Please don't mind him." I say, rolling my eyes mentally.
Once he left, we gathered our things and the paperwork that was given to us and left out of the room hand in hand. Even after all that has happened, near the end of the day, I feel ten times lighter than I have felt in awhile and I was happy about that. Walking out of the doctor's office, August's phone vibrated in his pocket and he immediately took it out before leading the way across the street- with me in the process of listening to the conversation.
"No, she's with me."
He pulled me in front of him as we made our way near the car, making sure I was not out of his sight.
"Come over now?"
Standing behind me, I walked to the passenger door, and he reached behind me opening it and I slid into the passenger's seat with ease and he closed the door behind me and walked around the car, while I pulled my phone out to check social media and and answer unread text messages.
"Ight, we'll see ya in a couple of days then."
Hearing the phone call end and the car start up, I didn't bother to ask who he was talking to because I didn't really care at this moment and it was doctor's orders to take it easy for now on so that I will be doing.
"We are gonna stop by Yovanna's place for a minute."
"Why?" I slipped out and looked over in his direction.
