"Well, do you like it?"
"I love it."
August showing these pictures of the house made me think this wouldn't be so bad after all. I swiped through the pictures as we sat in the mall waiting for one of the managers to bring me a pair of shoes, Chanel to be exact. August insisted on taking me shopping, so I didn't turn the opportunity down.
"We can have babies and everything-"
"Slow you role pretty boy." I laughed, handing him back his phone.
"You act like you don't want kids."
"I never said I didn't-"
"You don't want kids with me."
I crossed my eyes at how dramatic he was and looked the other way, just in time to see a box of shoes given to me. "Thank you." I told him and pulled them out seeing the gold heels glisten in my hand.
"I can't believe you brought me here."
"Why?"
"Because it's weird."
I slid the heels on my foot with ease and stood up in them, looking in the mirror.
"These are cute." I cooed, only to see August taking a picture in the mirror.
"Really Aug?"
"I can't show my girl off?" He questioned, grabbing at the back of my thigh. "I like those and we getting them."
"You're irritating." I mumbled sitting back down and taking them off, putting them back in the box and looked around for other items. August wasn't gonna let me leave until I bought at least 3 things from this store so I might as well make the more of it. I put on my original shoes and walked around looking at the handbags which I thought was also cute too and during the process, i heard loud talking coming outside of the shop. You know when you have that urge to find out who is being that loud? Yeah, me too and big mistake.
I saw Brooklynn and a group of her friends coming near, but I knew she wouldn't dare step foot here because of the last incident with another girl.
I ignored it and just continued looking feeling August's arm wrap around my shoulder.
"This white one with the fur is cute."
"Since when did you become interested in my sense of style?"
"I've always liked your style thank you." He said, holding the show box under his other are and staring at me. "So you gonna get it?"
"Yes." I chuckled at his reaction and he grabbed the bag putting it in his hand.
"Hey August."
Me and Aug both took a quick glance at one another before turning our attention to Brooklynn who stood there groupie. I didn't think I would see her so soon. Besides, that part of the family sorta hates my guts for whatever reason. Not my problem.
