Finally Together (Armin x Reader)

Yea. I decided to do an Armin one shot. I don't really like Armin too much, but I felt like he needed one after the last chapter.

"Whoa whoa whoa. (f/n), you can't be serious right now. Do you really think you could be smarter than Armin?" Sasha taunted you. You roll your eyes and look back at the paper in front of you. You had been studying so you could get to the top of your class. Sure you already were there for the girls, but you wanted to be there for all the students.

"I'm sure that if I try hard enough, I'll beat him." You state confidently. A chair next to you is pulled out and someone sits in it. You look up to see a short blonde haired boy sat there. Armin.

You look away. You had always had a secret crush on this nerdy boy, but you never thought that it could work with the private competition you have kept going in your mind ever since you started the classroom training during the cadets training.

"What cha got there, (f/n)?" Armin asked. He tried to peak at the paper around your arm. you hate it when people do that, so you slide the paper into his view.

"Notes? Is that for class?" He asked when he read it over. Sasha started to giggle.

"She thinks she can beat you in the next quiz . She feels like she needs to be at the very to of the class." Sasha broke into laughter, and drew some attention from some other Cadets. your face reddened. You yanked away the paper and stood up. You hated when Sasha taunted and teased you.

You walked quickly out of the mess hall. You tried to put enough distance between you and the others as possible. You kept waking until you heard footsteps and someone calling your name behind you. You turn a corner and run outside. You find a tree and sit on the side facing away from HQ.

"(y/n)! Where did you go? Please I want to talk to you!" It was Armin. You pulled your legs up to your chest. You didn't feel like talking to Armin or anyone.

You felt years starting to come, though you aren't sure why. You hadn't cried since the day the Titans ate your mom and brother. You shuddered at the memory. the tears spilled over. You let out a short sobbing sound.

"(f/n)? There you are. I was looking for you everywhere. Hey, Are you okay?" Armin came around the tree to find you in your little huddled up state. You shook your head, to afraid that if you opened your mouth that another sobbing sound would escape your mouth.

you didn't look up as Armin wrapped his arms around you. He seemed to be uncertain of his actions but you didn't stop him. Instead, you leaned into him. He seemed to be okay with it too, so he tightened his grip.

You stayed like that for a while. You let silent tears streak down your face. It was quiet until Armin broke the silence.

"Do you really have a goal to be at the very top of the class, (f/n)? Because I wouldn't mind if it were you who were ahead of me." Armin told you quietly. You look up at him. The moon light made his hair shine a little. You smiled at him.

"You wouldn't? Are you sure?" You were a little hesitant because you really weren't sure about it still. Armin smile a kind smile at you and wrote away a free tear.

"Of course. I'll even help you study. We could start tonight. If that's okay with you?" He suggested. You nod and smile back. Together, you two stand up and has back inside. Armin leads you to his dorm where he had all of his notes. You walk in silence next to each other. You reach Armin's door quickly. He opens it and you both walk in.

"So where do you want to start?" You ask him. He pulls out some papers and starts to look them over with you. Every now and then he would quiz you or answer a question you had. This went on for about an hour. You were slowly starting to nod off.

"Do you need to go? You look about ready to crash." Armin pointed out. You shrug you're shoulders. You where getting tired, but this is the first time that you've ever spent alone with Armin. You didn't want to leave just yet.

" I should be fine for a while longer. " You say with a yawn. Armin just shakes his head.

"I don't think you'll last much longer. But if you still want to, I think I may have something to help. Come over here." He gestures you over to the bath room. You follow him, but stumble a little. Armin rushes over to grab onto your arm before you fall into the take. He laughs at you.

"I don't think my trick will help you. You probably won't even make it to your room. Here." He leads you over to his bed and lays you under the covers.

"You don't have to. where will you sleep?" You ask him. Armin just shrugs. You take a risk and scoot over. "I'd you want to." you whisper mainly to yourself. Armin looks shocked at you.

Slowly, a very excited smile showed up on his face. He practically dove into the covers next to you. You giggle at his actions. He smile playfully back at you. Your eyelids start to grow heavy.

"You're a good friend to have. You know that Armin?" You tell him. His smile falls a little. "What is it?" you ask sleepily.

"Well I was actually going to be more than friends. but only if you want to." Armin admits quietly. You let out a small laugh

"I was thinking you were never going to ask." You say. Armin let out a small sign of release.

"Does that mean I can hug you?" He asks bashfully.

"You can do more than that." you turn over to him and kiss him on the lips. He wraps his arms around you. you don't remember what happened next, because you fell asleep. With the guy you love after a lovely study session.
