No wonder that Adrian guy is being so arrogant, he turned out to be the principal's son.
"Miss Russo, my apology for having a rude son here. I hope you can forgive my son's misbehavior"Principal Lexon bows to Jaba.
Jaba seems a little bit guilty seeing P.Lexon bows to her, she quickly grab his shoulder. "It's okay, Mr Lexon."she sighs. "It's just that next time, remind him to stay away from my family"she says.
Adrian stands there fidgeting.
"Adrian, do you have something to say with The Russo?"P.Lexon look at him, his apologetic facial expression changed now, stern and angry.
"Uh.."Adrian squeezed his clasped hands, biting his lower lip, "I'm sorry, Kev."he mumbles.
"What was that? Can't hear you, Mr. Bully."Moon asks, her palm next to her ear, tilting her head towards Adrian.
I just rolled my eyes, Jaba too, as our eyes met, we both draw a smirk on our face, or laughing so loud inside.
Adrian sighs. "I said, I'm sorry"his voice louder, I can sense tone of irritation in his trembling voice.
"Sounds insincere to me"Kevin utter.
Jaba smack Kevin's head, "Enough, you two. He's sorry alright."she snapped.
Jaba is probably pitying Adrian because we both knows how does it feels like being scolded by parents in front of strangers.
I shake my head, looking at Kevin. He just grins, rubbing the back of his head.
Adrian smile bitterly, as his eyes locked on Jaba.
P.Lexon stand upright now, his eyes wander, examining every faces in front of him.
"I know this matter is personal among you. I mean like, I was once a teenager too, I had a girlfriend, back then."he starts off his speech. All 6 of his lower our shoulder, knowing that this will be long speech.
"When I was your age..."
I can hear Jaba's soft sigh next to me.
Next to Jaba, Moon curled her hand around Jaba's arm.
We stood up there listening to P.Lexon for almost 10 minutes now.
My eyes is getting heavy. What the heck? This is principal! not a lullaby singer.
Suddenly someone bust into the room.
All 6 of us automatically sigh in relief. 'whew!'
"Principal, you have guest waiting."a thin man, with high cheek bone, wearing round glasses called. He's wearing black, probably a teacher.
P.Lexon nods, "Okay, Thompson. I'll be there in a minute."
Then we waited for him to dismiss us.
"You kids, wait here."he said, and I can feel disappointment in everyone.
After P.Lexon heads out, Jaba sits down at the principal's chair.
She put her hands on the table. "When I was your age.."she joked.
All of us laugh.
"It's my father, you're joking about"Adrian tell, but he don't seem to care about it.
"That must be hard for you to be his son,"Moon says, as she sits right next to Anna on the couch.
Adrian grins, "Not really. I'm used to it."
