29 : Fina Levedad

Walking on an empty hallway makes me feel even more empty than I did before.

I don't know why Conrad wants to see me.

If this is about Jaba, I'm afraid that I may not be able to answer him.

Moon said she met Jaba in her dreams two nights ago.

Why Moon, why not me?

I have tonnes to say with her.

She has been quiet these days.

Too quiet.

Now she's gone.

What should I do?

I took a moment standing in front of Conrad's room,

I can hear the sound of rapid clacking of typewriter from inside.

Pushing the wooden door open, I sneak my head into the room,

"Excuse me? May I come in?" my eyes lingers in the room, then I got it locked on a man who's wearing a black frame glass,

with a serious face, typing attentively.

Without looking at me,Conrad point his thumb at the chair  in front of his table,

Sitting on the chair opposite of him obediently,

Conrad stop typing, taking down his spectacles slowly as he took a quick glance at me.

"Pgie, I think you already know your sister's whereabouts, since you guys are good at digging stuff around here."

I coughs a bit, as if I'm choking on air.

"She's actually not allowed to go out to Anaithnid, not until 27th February." he paused, clasping his hand on the table, leaning back on his comfy chair comfortably." But, her dreams about Levi Valkyrie seems to be true. That is why Principal Lexon allowed her to go, along with 7 other slayers assigned by myself."

Levi Valkyrie? 

Never read about him in the prophecy.

"I know you're trying to think which part in the prophecy ever mention his name. There's none."

I wrinkled my forehead.

I don't understand, if Levi does not exist in the prophecy, why would Jaba being so eager finding him?

He's Valkyrie's child for God's sake.

He could just fool her with false alarm.

Why Jaba?

Why you do this?

"I know maybe you're thinking that Levi has no  importance in Levedad's prophecy."Conrad clears his throat, "Before I say my honest opinion, I want this matter to stay between you and me. Can you promise me that?"

   "Sure."

"I honestly says, I think otherwise."

    "About what?"

"About Levi Valkyrie."

    "Are you saying that Levedad's prophecy is not accurate?"

Conrad snorted. "I have problem trusting anything nowadays, my dear strategist"

    "What do you mean?"

"Your sister, she uh.." looking up to the ceiling "has too many hidden agenda. Among all of you Levedad and Giordani, she's the only person that I can't read. But I can tell, Jaba knows a lot more than anyone of us here did. I think she knows something about Levi that we didn't know of. Well, of course she didn't tell you..I personally think she's getting arrogant with her vampires ability, thinking that she can do everything on her own and she looks like she's getting way too proud of her status as your, I mean,"rolling his eyes, he put up a bunny ear with his finger, "Our Leader"
