7: Feelings

Rainbow Dash's POV

Man, ever since that day my heart just won't stop whenever I see Soarin. Every time I see him my heart pounds so loud, my face heats up, and I get tongue tied that I can't say a single word without stuttering. That, my throat won't let me choke out my words I mean to say. It's annoying. I just wish that I won't have to see Soarin every day at school. AND avoid the embarrassing questions the other students say. It's not cool.

I thought that I should wear a cap at school today and a loose jacket. The cap is for me not to look at Soarin and no one will see my red face. The jacket is for my fidgeting. I get uncomfortable whenever someone talks about Soarin in my face. I can't calm my nerves.

"Hey Rainbow!" I heard a familiar voice call my name. I flinched and cursed silently. My hands started to get clammy. Why? Why of all people Soarin had to come and ruin my day?

I didn't turn around to face him. Instead, I just keep walking to my next class while holding my books. I felt a presence behind me but I knew who it was so I didn't turn around.

"Hey Rainbow. Can I talk to you later after class?" Soarin asked. Shoot.

"U-uh... I-I'm... busy l-later..." I stuttered. Not cool. Not cool... "Uh... b-bye!" I said and ran to my classroom. Gaah! I hate it when I do that. I've never felt this way before. I was about to enter my classroom when I immediately walked to the restroom. I looked at myself in the mirror.

I took off my cap then patted my cheeks to cool the heat. I never thought I would be like this after my first kiss at the movie. Oh no... then the whole school will bother me nonstop!! I groaned. I wish I didn't come at the tour but I really feel guilty leaving them whenever they insist for me to join them. Yep, I'm pretty loyal.

I went back to the classroom and sat down on my seat. Well, I've never thought I'd say this but, I'm glad to be in class. You know me, I'm never interested in these classes. Except P.E. though. But I just had to clear my mind off of what happened in the last week. I waited in peace for the teacher to come.

A/N: I'm so so so so sorry!! Almost 2 months since I last updated. My brain just won't give me ideas right now and I just dug my nose into novels these weeks. This chapter is too short? Then I promise I'll try to make it even longer. At least 700 - 800 words.
