27: Reunite the Elements

Sunset's POV

"We need help on this," I said. "Let's start with Applejack. Now, we need to find the person who she is close to, other than us."

"Big Mac? Apple Bloom? Granny Smith?" Twilight asked.

"Those are good suggestions. But if we didn't find anything, let's move on to the next person."

"Alright. Let's go!"

~ AJ's House ~

What. In. The. Hay. Has. Happened. Here.

Applejack's barn was painted in various colors like purple, blue, green, yellow-green, magenta, and so on. Every apple in the trees has wilted and every crop has died. The animals were going insane! They act like human beings now! What in the world is happening?

"Big Mac! Apple Bloom! Granny Smith! Are you in there?" I yelled as loud as I could.

Then, I heard a deep chuckle behind me that sent shivers down my spine. I screamed and jumped. I turned around and saw Big Mac covered in mud. He looked like he was acting like a dog. Disgusting!

"Uh... Big Mac?"

"Eh?" he said then crawled towards the trees.

"Discord is at it again," Twilight and I said at the same time.

"Sunset! Twilight!" we heard a voice call out. We turned around and saw Apple Bloom running towards us.

"Apple Bloom! We've been looking for you!" Twilight said.

"You guys gotta help me! Applejack's being mean to me and I don't know why!"

"Where is she?"

"In my room!"

We all rushed to Apple Bloom's room and saw Applejack on her bed, reading some notebook. "'So my heart just went up to my head. Tender Taps just stopped by and asked to hang out with me! Me out of all people! Could life get any better?' Wow. You really are good at grammar, Apple Bloom!"

Apple Bloom turned bright red and her eyes filled with tears. "That's it Applejack! That's enough!" Twilight said.

"Hasta La Vista!" Then she leapt off the window. Twilight and I followed her while Apple Bloom hid her diary somewhere.

We chased Applejack in the farm. Pretty much almost the whole place, and we got tired pretty quickly. How can she run so frickin fast?

Both of us stop, panting. Twilight already fell face first on the ground while I landed on my bum. Is Applejack even tired?

If only I have trained with Rainbow for my endurance and speed, this wouldn't be much of a problem. And AJ with strength, I... maybe still not have a chance against her. It's magic after all.

"Sunset *pant* there... she *pant* is..." Twilight said, pointing something in between the trees.

I got up and walked towards it, no matter how tired I was. There in between the trees, stood Applejack. She fell down on the ground, panting heavily. She was just as tired as I was. I looked back and saw Twilight trying to get up. I motioned her to come quietly and we both snuck up behind AJ.

We tried to tip toe, but I accidentally stepped on a stick, causing AJ to look back at us.

Without even thinking, I tackled AJ to the ground, causing us to roll and hit a tree. Oww...

I cannot move. I looked up and saw purple glitter surrounding me and AJ. I was released by Twilight's magic but she kept AJ trapped. AJ tried to break free, but ended up falling unconscious eventually.
