29: Sweetheart?

Rainbow Dash's POV

~ 3 Months Later ~

Soccer practice was great today!

After taking a shower, I changed and head out the door, only to be greeted by Soarin. "Hey Dashie! " He quickly hid his phone in his back pocket.

"Hey Soarin!" I said. I saw that he looked panicked and rushed as beads of sweat slid down his face. "Um, is there something wrong?" I asked. I know that he hadn't been running since his breathing is normal and when I opened the door, he was just standing there using his phone, completely normal.

He has been on his phone lately. I don't know why, though. He has also been acting weird lately. 3 months ago he has been even more busier than usual, then this month he has been on his phone. Is he going to the doctor lately?

"Nothing." I could sense he's trying to act normal. "So, you ready?" He grabbed my bag.

"Yeah."

~ 1 week later ~

I yawned then winced. My feet are frickin aching!

I just got out of Sugarcube Corner since it's Pinkie's birthday party. It ended at twelve, but I got out of there around 1:30 since we have to clean up all of those balloons, food and streamers.

I hate wearing heels and I wish that I brought some sneakers. I could use my super speed, but the last time I ran in heels, my feet ached for the whole night and Rarity scolded me for breaking it.

Anyway, I was just a few feet away from my house when I heard those moaning, smacking of lips and giggling. Gross!

Just as I was about to pass by, I heard the girl say my boyfriend's name. "Soarin~"

What...

I bit my lip and hesitantly, I peeked at the alley way, and part of me wished I hadn't.

Soarin was pinning the girl to the wall, kissing her tenderly. I took a closer look at the girls and heard my heart crack. She was the girl I had never thought Soarin would cheat on me with. Lightning Dust was there, giggling as Soarin kissed her neck and hoisted her up. "Hey Soarin..."

"Yes, sweetheart?" S-sweetheart?

"When will you break up with Crash?"

"Real soon dear, real soon."

Anger... Jealousy... Betrayal... Sadness... All of these emotions swirled around inside of me. I wanted to scream at him, yell at him for doing this. But I couldn't. My choke of sobs stopped me from doing so. A few tears started sliding down my cheeks. I couldn't stop crying. I want to collapse then and there, but I don't want to stare at then for long.

I turned to a different direction, and ran towards home. My feet are aching terribly, but I didn't care. I just want to go home. Away from her. Away from love. Away from that stupid ****!

I opened the door then slammed it shut. I ran up to my room. Tears still running down my cheeks, I laid down on my , not even bothering to change my clothes. The scene starts to replay in my head. His hands were caressing her sides as he kisses her tenderly. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she giggled. He said that... he will... break up with me soon...

Was Soarin cheating on me for three months? Was he texting Lightning Dust the whole time. Has he... grown tired of me?

Well, if he doesn't like me anymore, he could've just broken up with me and that's it! It would have hurt less...

But even so... he promised. He promised that he would never cheat on me. He promised that he'll change. He said that he only has eyes for me, and that he will never find anyone else. He... promised...

Anger... I reached for a pillow.

Jealousy... I punched it several times.

Betrayal... I covered my face with the pillow...

Sadness... ...then screamed at the top of my lungs.

Why?! How?! How could I fall for such an unloyal person?
