Rainbow Dash's POV

Pain was the first thing I felt when I woke up. Ugh... what happened last night?

Oh, right. I drank so many drinks last night that I didn't even count. I groaned. Having a headache in the morning is not a good thing to start the day.

I was about to sit up when something stopped me from doing so. I couldn't open my eyes because of the light through the window but... I could clearly feel that it is an arm.

I started panicking. Who is this guy? I tried sitting up again, but he's too strong. I punched his chest, causing him to sit up and gasp for air.

"Dash!" He coughed. I took a good look at him and...

"WHAT IN THE HAY ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!!" I yelled. How-why-what? How in the world did he get in?!

"Hey! Calm down! You dragged me here..." he scratched the back of his head, messing up his navy blue hair even more.

"What do you mean I dragged you here?!"

"Shouting in the morning isn't good, you know. You were so freaking drunk last night that you cried just to let me stay..."

I... did? I would never do that! Well, people do stupid things when they're intoxicated. Wait... I don't remember inviting him! Did... did we... do something last night?

"W-what happened last night?" I asked him, nervous.

"Other than you saying that I should change your clothes and making me sleep beside you, there was nothing problematic," he said, but added quickly. "But don't worry! I closed my eyes while doing so, so it was a bit hard to make you out on some pajamas. Want some proof? Look at the buttons on your top."

I looked down and saw the buttons of my shirt weren't exactly aligned properly. If you know what I mean.

I crossed my arms and leaned on the bedrest in embarrassment, facing the wall instead of him.

"Hey..." he asked. "You okay?"

"Yeah... I'm fine..." I said. I'm feeling like he's not telling me the whole story. "Is there something you aren't telling me?"

I faced him and saw him blushing and scratching his cheek. "U-uh... w-well..."

"What?"

"I-is it true?" What is he talking about?

"What do you mean?"

"L-last night, you said that... you love me..."

My heart hammered in my chest. D... did I... really...?

"W-what?"

"Y-you confessed. Is that true?"

I tried remembering what happened last night.

Holding Soarin tightly in my arms, I cuddled closer to him. As my eyelids started closing, I stated something that I wanted to say to him a long time ago. "I love you, Soarin." Then I went off to sleep.

I feel the blood rushing up to my cheeks as I remember that thing. I confessed?! Why?! Why did I even drink last night?!

I feel tears coming out of my eyes. I didn't really want to tell him that. Denial. You said it yourself last ni-

I'm not in the mood right now, stupid brain!

Soarin noticed the tears and panicked. "U-uh... H-hey! It's fine! I- man, I wish I hadn't said anything."

What was I thinking? I bit my lip. I guess it's going to be awkward between us now.

"Uh... s-sorry about that..." I said, holding my tears back.

"I-it's fine..."

Awkward silence.

"Since when did you start to like me?" he asked.

"I was in denial. I guess after the movie we were in."

"Oh. Well, can I say something related to that?"

I bit my lip. "W-what... is it?"

Soarin just looked at me. Then leaned in towards me until our noses touched each other. I could feel his breath onto my mouth. I caught myself staring into his green eyes. Suddenly, I felt his warm lips press against mine.

I sat there, frozen not knowing what to do. Soarin's kissing me, for the second time. But, I guess this time, for real.

Soarin parted our lips for air, but he kissed me again in a much more passionate way. He cupped my cheek with his hand and continued kissing me.

My heart went all the way up to my throat. Dozens of butterflies fluttered in my stomach. My face heats up. And before I knew it, I closed my eyes and pushed my head to his a little.

I kissed back.

After a while, he parted our lips and gazed into my eyes. "R-Rainbow... I-I just wanted to say, I love you. I-I liked you, even when I started dating Lightning Dust, but... I loved you more than her. You were so different from the other girls that I took interest in you ever since we met."

He... returns... my feelings? But... how?

"I-I... never thought that... you still like me after I... rejected you."

"I was also trying to make you jealous by dating other girls. But, it somehow changed me."

He became a player because of me? "I thought it was Dust you wanted to be jealous."

"It was never about her."

I... didn't really know what to say next. I admit, I want to be with him, but I'm just too scared he might... cheat.

"Rainbow Dash," he said and placed a hand on top of mine. "I love you. And I want to be with you. Please, will you be mine?"

"Soarin, I... I'm just... too afraid of you... cheating on me..."

Soarin looked at me straight in the eyes and said, "Then give me a chance. I'll change. I don't want anyone else besides you, Rainbow Dash."

I was hesitant, but my feelings were getting the best of me. I gazed into his eyes, and said, "Yes."
