6: The Kiss

Soarin's POV:

I walked around the garden, admiring how beautiful the flowers are. I picked one red rose from a rose bush. I carefully plucked it while trying to avoid its thorns. I cut off the thorns using my knife.

I then heard footsteps coming towards me. I turned around and saw Veronica running to me. I smiled.

"Hey V. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Nothing. What are you doing here? I thought your dad is lecturing you about the lunch accident."

"Hehe... guess I'll have to deal the punishment later. I escaped from dad's glaring and shouting and threats." I paused. "What are you doing here?"

"Nothing. Just... walking around the gardens."

"My family's gardens. You're trespassing."

"Sorry. But you told me I could come here anytime I want!"

"Hehe, just kidding..."

"So, I heard you have a ball going on your house. What's the special occasion?"

"Big bro Will's birthday is in a few days. Along with him choosing a wife. Bunch of families have their invitation already. Here's yours. I made it since my bro didn't want your family to be there," I handed her a small card.

"Probably because of my annoying, bossy sister. She thinks she's in the top of the world. Thanks," she said, reading the contents written in the card. "Next week?"

"Yeah. Hope to see you there," I winked. We stared at each others' eyes for a moment.

"Well, I gotta go. My parents would worry if I stay here long. Bye!" she waved and went.

"Aaaand cut!" the director said.

"When's break?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"10 minute break! You can have a few snacks just behind."

I walked to a seat and sat down. The film we're on is like Romeo and Juliet.

Rainbow Dash was chosen to be Veronica. She protested but then she said got blackmailed by her friends. How mean...

I don't know what the blackmail was since Dashie won't tell me. But I'm fine with it.

I looked up and saw Rainbow eating a few chocolates to replenish her energy. She slept 3 o'clock from playing with her friends and woke up around 7 o'clock in a rush.

~Later~ Rainbow Dash's POV:

Man... being an actor in a cheesy movie sucks... And I hate it when my friends blackmail me. Why can't I get something I want for once?!!

After 10 minutes, I'm so glad I didn't have any roles there so I took a quick nap. Or should I say, I tried to take a quick nap. My poor ears can't take the shouting of the director. I just wanted to stay at home and sleep. I managed to sleep for an hour and a half then I had to be in the film again.

Groan.

It was a bit long. About the ball and stuff. Until we got to the part where Daniel and Veronica will be spending the time alone together in the garden. It reminds me of a scene in Romeo and Juliet Rarity and even Fluttershy forced me to watch.

And here comes my least favorite part in the movie.

He wrapped his arms around my waist as he nuzzled my nose. I wrapped my arms around his neck as we stared at each others' eyes. For a second, we collided our lips into each others'.

"Aaand cut!" the director said after 5 seconds. I immediately let go and turned my back from Soarin. We got a 5 minute break and I rushed to the restroom, trying to calm my nerves. This is exactly why I didn't want to be in the movie.

Well, the strange part is that, part of me enjoyed the kiss. His soft lips, the way he touched me... I must be going crazy in the first day! The girls are driving me insane!

I took a few deep breaths and walked out of the restroom.

"So, how was it Dashie?" Soarin suddenly asked.

"Horrible," I glared.

"Ouch, that hurts," he placed his hand on his chest.

"You're welcome," I faked a smile then sat down at one of the chairs.
