Chapter 21: Twin Dragons

*I am gonna make a second book based off of this so I hope that you will read and enjoy it. My sister pointed out that I may have wandered way far off of the Mating Season track and onto another story idea so, here's the Last chapter of Dragon Slayor Mating Season.*

Sting's POV

I watched Yukino and Kagura, from Mermaid Heel, cross the guild to the front doors. I've always liked Yukino but I never show it. At least I think. Somehow Rogue, Orga, Frosch, Lector, even Rufus managed to find out about my crush on her. I felt Rogue's presence behind me. I suddenly felt annoyed with the fact that he was over my shoulder possibly looking at my Yukino. I shook my head slightly. 'Ok you, since when was she Yours?' Ugh. "He-" I didn't let him finish. I just turned and punched straight across the room. Everyone stopped and looked between me and a fallen Rogue. He stood up grimacing. "What's your problem?!" He shouted. I frowned at him. "You! You are my problem!" He looked at me with a death stare. "Oh really? So you wouldn't mind if I did this?!" He suddenly launched at me and pushed me into the ground with so much force that it cracked. I pushed myself off the ground and growled at him, signaling that he better back off. He scowled and growled back. Well I warned him. I used my roar on him. He countered with a roar of his own. I followed with a series of attacks. He dodged a couple but I still struck him. He jumped back from my swipe, narrowly dodging it. He kicked me in the ribs sending me flying to the wall. Yukino, Kagura, and countless others were shouting for us to stop but I ignored them. I used the wall as a boost and launched myself at Rogue, my roar was up and ready. When I was centimeters from his face, I used it. He took the blast and was flung back. He flipped and landed on his feet. His eyes were glowing red in the shadows. He used Shadow Dragon's Crushing Fang against me. I countered with White Dragon's Claw and caught his chest. 'Perfect' Rogue, now unable to move, is paralyzed and released Holy Ray upon him. It was about to hit him but Kagura deflected it with her "magical" sword. She put her sword away and looked at me angered. "What is wrong with you two?!" She yelled. The stigma on Rogue disappeared. He fell back and glared at me. I returned with an equal looking one. "Hello! Are you even listening to me?! You're gonna destroy this guild if you continue fighting like this!" We both stood and glared. He picked Kagura up and slung her over his shoulder. "WHAT THE HELL!?" She screamed shocked. "Put me down Now!" Rogue ignored her and backed towards everyone else by the door, not breaking eye contact with me. "Rogue!!!" She pleaded. He ignored her still and after he reached the door, he finally put her down. He straightened up and so did I. We got into our drives and got into a battling stance. We lunged at each other but were hit unexpectedly by Pisces. We turned and looked at our guild mates, angry. I was beyond pissed now and I could tell that Rogue was too. We glared at the people that were gathered in front of the door. That's when I noticed the terrified looks on their faces. Rogue and I looked at each other and nodded. We took a step forward, earning a few screams and steps back. Ugh. 'I need to get out of here."

Yukino's POV

I was scared. They have never acted like this before. They were never this aggressive. Sure they fought but they held back. They never fought with so much hate and anger for each other. As far as I know, they were always like brothers. They fight but make up, they drift apart then find their way back to each other. They took a step forwards and a lot of people backed up and some even screamed. Kagura and I were the only ones that stood our ground. Something was wrong and we knew it. Rogue looked confused at the people behind us while Sting looked down at the ground. He looked back up and his gaze skimmed across us all. I looked at Kagura and she seemed to understand. He took a step back. "Sting!" I called to him. He locked onto me and acknowledged my presence. He straightened. "Yes, Yukino." I sighed in relief. "Please come here." He looked at me and Kagura confusion written all over his face. He reluctantly came over to me. "Can you understand me?" I asked. He nodded slowly. I looked at his eyes. They were dilated and weird. "Uh, are you ok?" He looked at me weirdly. "Yeah I'm fine." I don't believe him. He turned to walk away but I grabbed his wrist and pulled him back. "Stop lying!" Kagura looked at the both of us. "I'm going to uh, check on Rogue." She walked away. I let go of his wrist. "Sting you're our guilds master. If something is wrong you must tell us. If you don't, something bad could happen to Sabertooth." He looked away from me. "Please... Just tell me what's wrong. Maybe I could help?" He sighed looking back at me. "Yukino. I just now realize that the mages in Fairy Tail have not told you." I shook my head. "No. Why is something wrong?" "Uh, it's just that us dragon slayers have um. We-" He closed his mouth and started thinking. Then Kagura shouted. "What!? How come no one has informed me of this? Oh I see. Fine then." Her and Rogue just went back to talking quietly. "Yukino." I looked back at Sting. "Well all the Dragon Slayers are going through a thing called Mating Season. It happens when we're maturing. We run around finding people to call our mates. I believe that Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus have already finished stage 2. Wendy has completed the process due to her age." I looked at him confused. "Mating Season? Mates? What are you talking about?" He gave me that 'You know exactly what I'm talking about.' "You mean mating as in two people coming together and doing That?" He nodded. My heart began racing. 'What if he likes another girl? Well I can accept that but he means that the person he chooses as his mate must stay with him forever. He must like Minerva, I mean she has all those curves and perfect makeup, hair, nails, and her clothes are always on point.' "My mate isn't Minerva." I looked up, startled. "How did you kn-" "Listen, Yukino I can't explain it here. Lets go somewhere more private please." I nodded. I followed him down the hall into the basement. I crossed my arms. "So? Are you going to explain to me how you read my mind?" He began blushing, Which is not like him mind you. "Um... Yukino? How would you react if I told you that you were my mate?" I'm so confused right now. Where is he going with this? "I'd.... say 'No way!' and um, act totally normal?" He smirked. "Well Yukino, You are my mate." Let's just say that I tried to act normal but that didn't work hehe. "No Way!" I chuckled nervously. He rose an eyebrow at me. I squirmed under his gaze and felt a blush creeping onto my face. "R-Re-Really? Your not faking or anything? This isn't one of your pranks?" He laughed and pulled me to him, gripping my waist. "No Yukino." I took in a shaky breath. His eyes impaled me, making me feel like jelly. I couldn't stand this torture. I grabbed his collar and kissed him. I felt him smile as he kissed me back passionately. I love Sting so much.

Rogue's POV

So I told Kagura about the whole mating thing and she was cool with it. The only time she lost it was when I told her that I wanted her to be my mate. She completely flipped and yelled about how Mermaid Heel is a girls only guild and that she doesn't think that mages in the guild were allowed to have boyfriends. I looked down at the ground as she started recalling the rules of her guild. "You know, I don't think we're allowed to have boyfriends." She said to me. My heart felt like it was ripped out, stomped on, then broken, and then was put back into my chest. "Oh, well that's too bad." She stepped closer to me. "But, as my soul sister Erza Scarlet always says. Screw Rules." She grabbed my face and pressed her lips to mine. I'm so freaking overjoyed right now. I kissed her back. After a few moments we pulled away for air. I smirked at her pink face. "So does this mean we're dating now?" I asked her. She frowned. "NO." My smirk faltered. "You haven't taken me out yet so." She smirked at me this time. I chuckled at her brave personality. "Ok then, how does dinner sound." She giggled. "That sounds great." I picked her up and we went to a restaurant down the street.
