"Y/N, just stay in the damn car." Dean ordered as you bickered with the Winchester brothers. "No, guys I  can handle a measly crossroads demon, i'm tired of doing all the paperwork and not getting to have any of the fun!" you exclaimed, waving the demon blade around as you did so. "Dean, she has been out in the field before." Sam told his brother. Dean sighed after thinking for a minute "Fine, but if you get your ass ganked, I will kill you." You smiled at them both, kissing Sam on the cheek before walking ahead of them both. "Thank you!"

Sam giggled and his hand lingered on the invisible mark from your lips. Dean caught on "You really love her, huh?" he asked Sam with a smirk. Sam chuckled a bit as he watched you ahead of them "Yeah, I do." You and Sam had always flirted, much to Dean's dismay, but you'd never told each other how you felt.

You walked into the abandoned building first. Why were these things always hiding out in abandoned buildings, could they not afford somewhere a little nicer? Nothing was out of the ordinary, that was until you were slammed against the concrete wall, the demon blade falling from your hands. Sam and Dean came rushing in as you grunted "Y/N!" Sam called out at you struggling. On cue, the demon walked into the large room. "Look, i'm going to cut the crap," he started "We all know I know who you are, I don't need to make some big speech about the infamous Winchester brothers, do I?" he asked, his gaze switching from the boys to you. "But you," he said as he neared you until he was inches from your face. "I don't know who you are, pretty little thing."

"Get away from her!" Sam shouted as he ran towards the demon, blade in hand. The demon forced him away with ease. He pulled you towards him so fast you barely felt the icy cold blade puncture your torso. "Let her go!" Dean and Sam cried out simultaneously. The demon smiled at them both "If you say so." he hissed before letting you slide off the blade and to the floor.

You could already feel the blood rushing out of you. Dean ran up behind the demon and stabbed him. The demon dropped to the floor as well, and the force holding Sam back was released as he did so. Sam clambered to get up and rushed towards you, picking you up in his arms and carrying you towards the exit. "Dean, she needs a doctor." he yelled as his brother followed suit. The life drained from you faster than you thought it would. Sam burst through the door and into the dark, rainy night. "Sam...stop." you choked out as blood poured out your wound. He attempted to cover it with his flannel, but it didn't stop all the bleeding.  "Y/N, you're hurt! You need some help. Oh god, It's everywhere" he looked down at your bloodstained shirt.

"It's okay. I don't feel any pain," You started, just now noticing how much he was crying "A little fall of rain, can hardly hurt me now." you were fading fast, and you could feel the small rain droplets hit your torn flesh "You're here. That's all I need to know."  All three of you knew that you weren't going to make it to the hospital in time. He shushed you, telling you to save your energy. "Y/N," he said between sobs and he knelt on the floor with you still in his arms "I..." he continued "I love you, Y/N. You can't leave me now."  You brought his face down to yours and wiped the tears from his cheeks, tracing his cheekbones before planting your lips on his. The kiss was long and sweet, and the best kiss you'd had and will ever have. After you both pulled away, he noticed you were crying too. " I love you too," you finally replied faintly "And i'll never leave you. You will keep me safe, and you will keep me close," you continued to speak as your eyelids grew heavy  "And rain will make the flowers gro-" your world went black, and the last thing you remembered was Sam pulling your limp body into his, screaming with grief.
