His obsidian black hair falls in front of his left eye. It's not too long or super short. His hair is a little shaggy, but it still looks good. He has on a black hoodie and his hands are tucked in the pockets. Apparently, all of his needs for three weeks can fit into a bigger sized backpack because, that's all of the luggage he has. He continues to walk down the aisle. Once get a better look at his face, I see about how old he looks. The boy looks about twelve or thirteen.

Oh god. He's about my age, I think, yes!

The boy looks at me and smiles just a little bit and waves. Not very much. It is more like a raising of the hand halfway with a little vibration.

I smile back and wave the same way. I start to blush.

Jessie looks at me and smirks, "Are you looking at him?"

I stiffen up, "Umm..." I take a deep breath, "Yeah. Why?"

"You were blushing because he waved at you. I'm going to invite him to sit with us. I know you want him to!" Jessie makes jazz hands and waves her left arm like a maniac, "Hey! You can come sit with us!"

I elbow her and say through my clenched teeth, "Shut up, Jessie."

The boy makes his way down the aisle towards us.

The seats are like a limo. They aren't like regular bus seats. They line the walls of the bus.

I look to my left and see an empty seat next to me, Oh, god. Why?, I think.

The boy gets closer to us and sits down right next to me, "H-hello. I'm Ashton. What's your name?"

"Dawn", I say. I then realise that his hand is reached out and he's looking at my face. I grab his hand and we shake.

"Nice to meet you."

Jessie looks at us and says, "Yeah, real nice."

I send her a glare and look back at Ashton, "You too. Where are we?"

"Umm, we're in Denver. Why are you asking?'

"Oh, it's nothing. I'm just asking."

Jessie nudges me.

"I almost forgot! This is my friend, Jessie", I gesture towards her and she waves at him.

"Hello", says Ashton.

He's pretty shy, I think to myself, he's going to be hard to get to know. "So, what's your favorite genre of music?" I ask.

"Alternative rock. I play the electric guitar", Ashton blushes and glances over at me, "What about you?"

"Same. But, I play the violin."

"Cool".

Jessie nudges me on the bicep.(Not that I have any), "Start up a conversation", she says through her teeth.

"I'm trying".

"Hey, Dawn", Ashton says.

"Yeah?"

"Do you know what this camp thing is about? My dad wouldn't tell me", he looks worried. I can probably tell why. It's the same as me; were going to be gone for three weeks to who knows where. I don't blame him.

"I don't know either. I don't think anybody does."

Jessie looks past me to Ashton, "That's true."

"I guess we'll find out when we get there", I say.

All of the sudden, the bus comes to another halt and I'm thrown against Jessie and Ashton is thrown against me. I push myself up and so does everybody else. I look out of the window and see lights on every building. They're so bright. Then, I realize it is late at night. That's why all of the lights are on... I look down the aisle of the limo/bus and the doors open with a gust of wind.
