Ever since the accident happened Jude had been suffering from massive migraines. When a migraine struck, Jude was it's prisoner, quite helpless in her cage of pain. She was blinded with flashing colorful spots and craved darkness, quite and stillness. Often the nausea would overwhelm her and she would vomit. Pain would throb so violently around her skull that she thought it was just going too bust open one day.  Today was one of those days and when Mary and Lana came home from grocery shopping they found her curled up on the living room rug clutching her throbbing head groaning lightly.  Mary ran too the bathroom and fetched her medication, yelling for Lana to get a glass of water.  Then the 2 women helped Jude take it.  Mary holding Judes head up, pushing the pill between her lips, and Lana slowly tipping the cup letting water flow into Jude's mouth helping her swallow the horse pill.   They both carried her limp body too her bed, placing her head carefully on her pillow. Lana closed the blinds making the room almost completely black.   After a few minutes Jude stopped groaning and Mary left the room.   Lana curled up right next to her  on the bed and waited until Jude was sound asleep making sure she was okay too sleep.

Lana laid awake staring at Jude.  She had woken up not too long ago, but was persistent on moving because she didn't want too wake Jude.  Her migraines were getting worse which worried Lana.   3 soft knocks feel on the door and Mary appeared in the door way.   Lana smiled at her.

"breakfast is on the table..." She said softly. Lana nodded and Mary walked off most likely back too the kitchen.  She really was a good kid, and you could tell Jude brought her up, well mannered, great cook, loving, and mysterious.  Almost a mini me of Jude.  Lana chuckled at the thought and slowly started stroking Jude's hair, coaxing her awake.

"Rise and shine sleepy head..." She said quietly as Jude's heavy eyes cracked open.   She brought the back of her hand up too forehead letting out a loud breath of air through her nostrils.

"what time is it?" She croaked opening one eye too look over at Lana.   Lana smiled brightly and placed a soft kiss on Jude's cheek.  She always loved watching Jude wake up.  It was like comforting and cute in some way.  If she was asked too describe the feeling to anyone she could never.

"Mary has breakfast waiting on the table..." Lana whispered.   Jude smiled and slowly sat up running her fingers through her hair.   Slowly she flung her legs over the side of the bed and wobbily walked into the kitchen.  Mary was buzzing around preparing everything.

"Morning hun..." Jude said huskily.  Mary looked up at Jude and smiled.

"I hope you are hungry!" She said chirpily.  Jude smiled at her and sat down at the head if the table, Lana out not too long after sitting to the right of Jude.  Mary served both the ladies an enormous platter of food. Eggs, ham, piles of fried potatoes. A perfectly tossed fruit salad glazed with honey, Lana's absolute favourite.  A basket of fresh baled rolls sat before them would keep them going for about a week.  Mary always tried too out do herself, plus she loved cooking, and was but of a perfectionist.  So everything was set perfectly.  She even managed to make a glass of orange juice look elegant.    Without hesitation both ladies dug into the food moaning at all the amazing tastes exploding across their taste buds.   Mary soon sat down and joined them in eating.

"Shit, this is good..." Lana hummed with food still in her mouth. Her eyes closed.

"Language..." Jude warned raising an eyebrow in Lana's direction.  Lana stuck her tongue out at Jude giggling.  Jude turned toward Mary.

"How immature..." She smirked looking back at Lana, Mary chucking.  Lana rolled her eyes and Jude smiled too herself finishing up her eggs.

"Im so full I can barely move.." Lana said making all of the laugh.

"Thank you Mary, that was delicious.." Jude said starting with the dishes.  Mary rushed over to her and grabbed her hands.

"You go. You aren't doing these. I am." She said looking Jude right in the eyes.  Jude shook her head and looked down at the ground.

"I never thought the day would come....You, giving me...orders..." She chuckled too herself.  "I have to do something! I can't take thid anymore! Being babied! I hate it, I am fully capable...." Jude started too get heated and Mary backed off letting Lana take over.

"Thats the problem love, you aren't fine.  These migraines are getting worse...And it's starting to worry both of us...We think a doctor should come and take a look at you..." Lana said softly, grabbing a hold of Jude's hands.  Jude ripped her hands away and gave Lana a nasty side look.

"Im fine...There is bothing wrong with me..." She said through gritted teeth, her eyes glazing over.  Lana slowly walked closer to her.

"Listen....We want too believe you are fine. And I wish you were Judy....but you aren't. You hurt yourself....And its okay to depend on people to help you..." Lana said trying to keep Jude calm.   Jude stood in her place slightly swaying.  She looked over at Lana with tears in her eyes.

"I need help..." She said her voice cracking tears spilling down her face.  Lana wrapped her arms around Judes waist and held her in a tight hug. Jude wrapped her arms around Lana neck and buried her nose in the crook of her neck.  Lana let Jude just cey on her shoulder, uncertain of what else to do.

For the first time in her life, Jude had   to rely on someone.

For Lana what seemed like a kind deed for someone she loved, was a moment of weakness for Jude.  A moment she would never get over.
