*You already know what the song is for. Also I love this band?? I just started listening to them.*

Izuku's POV

The halls of Yuuei didn't look the same as I walked down them. The walls seemed like they were glaring at me. The school felt menacing. I felt like I no longer belonged.

I entered class 1-A and was overwhelmingly met with loud whispers along with sharp stares. I shuffled quietly to my seat. I ignored the people who called my name. I sat down and looked forwards. My eyes met with Uraraka's. Her face was inches from mine.

"Hi, Izuku!" She smiled.

I smiled back.

"Sorry about the class," she blew a piece of hair out of her face. "They're all caught up in this crazy rumor that you punched a civilian at All Might's funeral."

"I did," I said nonchalant. There was no point in keeping it a rumor because some of them had witnessed it.

"Oh- oh," Uraraka said disappointingly. She started backing away. "I just didn't believe it because it didn't really seem like an Izuku thing to do, haha."

"I heard you have a criminal record now, Deku!" Bakugo laughed from behind me. His feet propped up on his desk. "You really will do anything for your lover, All Might."

I gripped hard onto my desk. My nails digging into the wood. I stayed silent.

"Is it true the guy broke like all the bones in the right side of his face?" I heard Mina ask.

"No, Mina I thought they said whole right side of his body," Sero responded to her.

"I think we should stop talking about it-- RIBBIT," Tsuyu said.

"I don't want to get on Izuku's bad side," Mineta shivered.

The whole class erupted into conversation about the incident. I didn't want to hear it. I didn't want to talk about it.

I covered my ears tightly and laid my head on my desk. Their muddled voices could still be heard through my cupped fingers. Their words driving me insane.

"Shut up!" I yelled. My head shot up from my desk. The whole class went dead silent. Everyone was scared of me.

I breathed heavily and ran a shaky hand through my messy hair.

"Thank you," I said quietly as I returned my head to my resting position.

The rest of the class period went on as usual. No one brought up the topic until lunch time.

My usual lunch buddies Uraraka and Tenya politely denied my request to sit with them, so I sat alone in a booth in the far side of the cafeteria. I never realized how much an incident like that could ruin my reputation. It had seemed that everyone in every class had known what happened. I could hear my name whispered in conversation and felt glances towards me.

I clutched my chopsticks tightly. I didn't want to be there anymore. I knew it was the first day back, but I felt like my situation would not get any better.

A hand landed on my table. I looked up and saw the hand belonged to a male upperclassmen. Most likely a third year in the hero course based on his looks.

"Hey, kid," he said casually. "Is it true you punched a civilian?"

I looked up at him blank-faced. Straight to the point, but why did he care?

"Not going to answer?" He asked.

"Why does it matter to you?" I responded.

"I just care as someone in the hero course, like you," he smirked.

This boy was fake and smug. I didn't like it one bit. I decided to just tell the truth once again.

"Yes. Yes, I did because he deserved it." I smiled back.

"Wow, a first-year thinks he can hurt a civilian? Because YOU know who deserves and doesn't deserve punishment? Right?" He said as he picked me up from the collar of my shirt. I was pulled across the table.

"Punch me," I said blankly.

His fist collided with the center of my face. I felt my nose crack underneath the impact. He threw me back against my chair. Blood spilled out of my nose.

"That all you got? I hit that civilian harder than you hit me!" I laughed hysterically.

I felt the familiar sensation of One for All throughout my body. My veins began glowing. My mind was scattered. I didn't know what I was doing.

I pulled his arm away and wiped my nose. I looked him up and down as I continued to laugh.

I raised my powered arm. I was ready to punch him back.

Students surrounded the table. Teachers pushed their way through. I suddenly felt my arm being pulled. One for All began to fade throughout my body. I looked and saw Mr. Aizawa on the other end. He dragged me through the crowd.

He had mumbled something under his breath that I didn't understand. The students from class 1-A stood and watched the boy and I get taken away. I waved at them.

They watched in awe and terror at how I was acting. Their reactions made me laugh harder. Tears were rushing down my face.

What was wrong with me?
