Turn of events

Chapter 13

I woke up in Zoe's arms again but this time i was in my room and Zoe was still sleeping and she looked adorable when she was sleeping. I kissed her forehead and she smiled "morning!" she said all grogy and i smiled "morning!" i said and she opened her eyes and i smiled and kissed her lightly,

"how are you?" she asked and pulled me closer to her and i frowned "i cant think!" i said and tears were threating to fall and she kissed my cheek "i know i keep saying it but everything will be okay sweetie, we will find him dont worry!" she said and i nodded,

"i know i just feel usless siting in the house not doing anything while my baby is possibly cold cos they didnt take his jacket!" i said and she smiled warmly "im sure Damien is fine and who ever took him will pay!" she said and i nodded.

I got a text and it was from Dina,

'Just saw the news, hope everything is okay im here for you give me a call if you need me!' she said and i smiled,

'thanks hun will do!' i said and hugged Zoe and she held on to me tight "i love you!" i said and she squeezed me "i love you to!" she said and kissed my forehead and i lay back in bed and Zoe kept me in her arms protectivly,

"how did i get in my bed?" i asked and she laughed a bit "i carried you, your actually very light!" she said and i smiled "thanks!" i said and she kissed my cheek. My phone went again and Margret raced up the stairs,

"were listening in this time, we also have a tracker on the call!" she said out of breath and i nodded and answered it,

"how did you sleep, hopefully good!" i heard Connie say,

"Connie wheres Damien?" i asked angry and she tutted,

"now,now have patience all in good time!" she said and laughed, then she hung up ad i sighed and put my pone back,

"didnt say anything!" i said and cried onto Zoe's shoulder and she held onto me "you'll find him!" she said into my ear "i hope so i miss him!" i said and cried more and she kissed my head "its okay!" she said and rubbed my back.

We went downstairs and my mum was sleeping on the couch and my gran was knitting and Margret was watrching TV. I wnet into the kitchen and made a sandwhich and came back and sat beside Zoe and she held me in her arms.

"do you have any idea where he could be?" Margret asked switching the TV of and i shook my head "sorry no!" i said and she nodded "lets assume its Connie thats taken him, where would she take him?" she asked and i thought about it,

"i still dont knw, everywhere she would go is to public someone would see!" i said and she nodded "again assume it is Connie, would anyone help her in any way?" she asked and i isghed "maybe Jamie, they both wanted me to abortDamien and they slept together at a party apparently!" i said and she nodded,

"and who's Jamie?" she asked and i sighed "Damiens dad!" i said and Zoe held onto me tightly, everythime i mentioned Jamie she'd get protective over me. Margret made some more phone calls and i gave Zoe half my sandwhich and she smiled at how anti-nut it was.

My phone went again and i recognised it as Connie's,

"hello?" i said and she laughed,

"i bet yur going out of your mind with worry!" she said and i got angry,

"Connie where is he?" i asked and Zoe kissed my forehead which calmed me down a bit,

"now, now i thought i said have some patience!" she sia dand i sighed,

"please Connie just tell me where he is!" i said begging her and there was a pause,

"meet me at the docks, number ten bring no one!" she siad in defeat and hung up and i raced upstairs to get my shoes,

"what did she say?" Zoe said ebetering my room "im meeting her at the docks!" i said and she loked shocked "she took him?" she asked and i nodded and Margret came up the stairs "we cant let you go on your own, were hiding the polic e so it looks like your on your own!" she said and i nodded "fine whatever!" i said and a police man was downstairs.

"put this in your ear, when we tell you to do something do it the police have guns so you must do what we say!" he said and giving me a small tanned ear piece. I put it in my ear and i heard a man ask if i could hear him,

"yes!" i said "good i can hear you!" he said and it felt weird "okay.." i said. I took my mums car keys and drove to the docks and i saw a  diguised police car follow a distance behind me. I parked the car outside warehouse ten and went inside. 

The docks wernt in use anymore and they had an eary look about them, so fitting for a kiddnap "Connie!" i yelled to get her attention and i saw Jamie approach from behind a concrete cylinder

"dont run up to him!" how could they see this "what the hell Jamie?" i asked and he walked over to me and i tok a step back and he didnt take one forward "i never wnated this fuckign kid and you couldnt just abort him like i asked!" he said angry and i got angry,

"because Jamie thats murder, Damien wasnt even born yet and he done nothing wrong im not going to abort a baby before its even born thats murder!" i said and he got angry "well why couldnt you put him up for adoption you have your whole life ahead of you your throwing it away!" he yelled and i shook my head,

"i disagree, i love Damien and if it means going to university later than i want and he's okay then i will i put him first not my wants as long as he's happy then im happy!" i yelled back at him and i heard Damien cry,

"where is he?" i yelled i was now ignoring the man in the ear piece telling me to not yell and cause him to get angry "im not telling you, im taking him away for adoption your not throwing your life away!" he said and i got angry "why do you care you dont want anything to do with him!" i yelled,

"cos i still care about you!" he yelled and i shook my hea d"well if you care about me you'll give me Damien back and leave us alone!" he looked at me angry "why cant you see im only helping you!" he yelled and i shook my head "why cant you see your not!" i yelled and he sighed,

"Connie bring him!" he shouted and then Connie came from behind the cylinder with Damien in her arms. She walked over and looked at Jamie before giving him to me. He stoped crying when he wa sin my arms and he was freezing cold.

"why couldnt you have just done what we asked!" Jamie said and i looked at him and he was holding a gun at me "it would have been so much more...easier!" he said and i looked at him and Connie who was smirking,

All of a sudden loads of red dots were on them both and they looked at them "told you so!" Connie said and Jamie loked at her "really now you say that!" he said and she shrugged "when you kidnap someoneother people are bound to call the police or did you forget that!" she said and i started at them both,

"thought you told her to come alone!" he said and she nodded "i did but have you ever seen the TV that never works!" she said "back away slowly!" the man in my ear said so i done what he said. Connie and Jamie started having an argument between themselves and they hadnt realised i had left the warehouse.

I turned away "freeze!" a man said from inside and there was yelling from Connie and Jamie and then a gun shot went of "police man down!" went through a radio and i was in shock. I looked down at Damien and smiled ands kissed his forehead.

A police man came over and took me in the car for heat and asked questions but i was to happy. I was taken out of the car as Connie and Jamie were being put in the police van "she's diting a teacher!" Connie yelled at me and two police men looked at me,

"could you come to the station please!" they said and i sighed and got back in the car and they drove me to the police station. A woman took Damien and i was signing my name when i saw Zoe walking with a police officer into the station.

We looked at each toher and gave each other reasuring smiles before we were taken to different rooms to be interviewed.
