You've got this, Soph. I know this is hard, but you only have fifteen weeks left of this, and then you get to work with Aaron Hotchner and his amazing team.
And Spencer.
Ugh, four thirty in the morning.
I flipped my legs over the side of my bed, and rubbed my eyes groggily before standing up. I could hear my phone buzzing from across the room.
Slowly, I walked over trying to find it.
"1 missed call : Penelope Garcia
1 missed call : Sister <3
2 missed calls : Aaron Hotchner""Shoot.." I mumbled to myself, ringing back Aaron first.
"Agent Hotchner, I'm so sorry. This training really exhausts me I didn't hear my phone go off last night I'm s-" he cut me off abruptly.
"I need you to get to the office as soon as possible, can you make it here within ten minutes?" He asked. His voice was hard and stern.
"I can, sir, but I have tr-" he cut me off once more.
"There is no need for you to finish when you have already completed this training for another bureau in another place. Just get here." And with the click of a phone, he hung up.
A small, exhausted sigh escaped my lips as I made my way to my closet in my new apartment.
My outfits are mostly colorful, professional, but colorful.
I went with a blue and black striped quarter sleeve length sweater, and a pair of black leggings. I also added my black blazer and some black booties. Quickly, I combed through my hair and ran out the door.
Cell phone in hand, I began dialing Emily back. I made an attempt to try and hail down a taxi, but Penelope pulled over in front of me instead.
"Hey, Pen." I smiled brightly. Penelope and I had gotten pretty close in the past few weeks. She's the reason I know my way around town a bit better. I've gone on a few girls nights with JJ and her recently as well, and they're loads of fun.
"Hop in, girlie. I figured you'd have some trouble trying to find a cab in time." I chuckled at her, and let myself in.
"Thanks, Penelope." She smiled in return.
"Dammit." My voice became low and irritated.
"What's wrong, angel?" She asked, concerned.I sighed heavily. "Emily called me a little while ago, but I was asleep and didn't hear my phone go off. It was in the other room. And I've called her back multiple times and she isn't answering."
Penelope sighed, almost in relief. "Fret not, youngling. She was trying to help Hotch get a hold of you. Same here." She smiled. That brought me much comfort."Oh, good. Okay." I Said, mostly to myself.
In just a few short minutes, we arrived at the FBI headquarters.
Penelope led the way, and we ended up in a large conference room. There was a large round table, and Agents Morgan, Jeraue, Rossi, Hotchner, and of course Dr. Spencer Reid and Penelope sat in rolling office chairs around it. Everyone had files in front of them, and there was a large screen with the BAU's "logo" on it.
There was an open seat in between Hotchner and Reid, and they both motioned me to sit next to them.
"Welcome, newbie." Penelope joked. I shyly smiled in return. Am I a part of the team now? What is going on?
