A month after our encounter at the rehab with Alexander I figured that he isn't all bad. He got a good side too. I owe him for saving my dad. In a month things change . Alexander stop bullying me, must be the reason behind that is because I'm Carter's girlfriend.
For once, I lived a normal life in this academy. People treated me like... I belong... All thanks to Carter. I'm not an outcast anymore. They accepted me.
"Are you free this coming weekend?" Ashley asked. " Yeah...why?"
"Well, since Carter and you been together, we haven't hangout anymore." she said in a sad tone. "Now that you mentioned that... you're right."
"Let's go to our Beach Resort's Grand opening. You can take Carter.. Oh yes! you can asked Carter to bring Alexander too!!!" Her eyes sparkled with excitement.
"I had a feeling that's a bad idea." I grimaced. "What are you girls talking about?" Carter popped out of nowhere. "Oh Hi, Carter! My dad is having a grand opening at our new Beach Resort and I wanted to invite you."
"Cool, when?" Carter looked interested in her idea. "This coming weekend. But Carter I have a request... can you please bring Alexander?" His smile replaced by a wide grin."Of course. That can't be hard."
It was strange to hear that from Carter. At the exact moment Alexander showed up. "I heard my name. What was the commotion about?"
"Hey, bro. Ashley is inviting us to their Beach resort." Alexander raised a brow. Then he added, "Grand opening."
"Rad.. Sure, I'll be there." He winked at Ashley. Ashley falls on her seat and her face is indescribably red. "Ash, are you okay? " He helped her get up. Ashley got her tongue tied.
"I'm okay." She said dreamingly. Something is going on between this two. And I'll figure it out myself.
The days went by so quickly and here we are packing our bags for three days and two nights at Green's Beach Resort. Carter carried my bag to his car. "Let's get going shall we?" I nodded and sit at the passenger's seat.
After two and a half hours of driving, we reached the location and it was a Paradise. There is a small bridge coated with grape's vines and underneath the bridge was a pond full of goldfish. "Wow, this place is beautiful." I complemented.
The interior design of the resort's hotel was completely unbelievable. It's courtly; elegant and every details are refine.
"Good morning, You must be my daughter's friend." Mr. Green greeted. "We are." Carter replied. "Haven't seen you for a long time, Carter." He offer a hand to him. "I've been busy lately." he genuinely smiled.
"I hope you had a great time staying here." Mr. Green said. "We will." He excused ourselves. A bellboy carried our bags on our designated rooms.
"Moe!!! We're sharing the same room!" Ashley said as she fixed her hair.
The grand opening will start at noon and her dad wants us to wear a semi-formal outfit. "I know you didn't bring any dress that's why I brought one for you." Ashley brought out a black cocktail dress from a dressing room.
"Here. Try it." I put it on and my eyes can't believe what my reflection is holding before me.
"Oh my gosh! Moe it suits you!!" We both can't believe that the dress fits perfectly to me.
Ashley starts to fix my hair and apply some light make up on my face. After a couple of minute, I'm all done.
"Shall we go and see how our date's looked?" She winked at me. Ashley clings at me and drag me to a porcelain staircase . We both stopped talking when we saw two handsome boys waiting downstairs. Two gentlemen wearing a black suit. Carter stood straight and gave me a warm smile.
I blushed. When I look at them again my eyes darted to Alexander and he's intensely staring at me. I felt something build up inside of me and I consciously fell.
