I woke up in a room with cream coloured walls and silver stripes.

"Where am I?"

I heard a squeak from the floorings. "Good! You're awake. How are you feeling?"

"Alexander? I'm feeling a bit dizzy." I caught my head onto my palm. "You got a high fever. What happened?" I lay on the bed again. "I haven't got a nice sleep since Carter left. Over fatigue, I guess."

"I see." I waited for him to talk again yet he didn't said anything.

"I'm hungry." I blurted out after my stomach rumbled loud.

"I made you a porridge—". My eyes widen.

"You... you MADE a porridge? What time is it now???? Am I in the future? Maybe this is some sort of another dimension?? Oh no!!! Maybe the world is going to end now!!"

"Shut up, Moe. The world is not going to end." I just could not believe what he just said. He cooked! For my beautiful life's sake The Alexander Grant a.k.a The good for nothing guy cooked!!!

"Would you please just give me a credit for it? Stop over reacting! Of course I can cook! I can't depend on someone when I live alone."

He gave me the bowl of hot porridge. "You sure this food doesn't have any poison in it?" He deeply sighed. "I'm not that evil. If I wanted to kill you I wouldn't take you to my place."

I scanned the room, "You're place? This isn't Courtney's house." Alexander faced palm. "Moe, this is my own place. MY HOUSE."

"What?!" I choked and he quickly grabbed me a glass of water. "Drink, slowly. I moved out when I was sixteen."

"Why???" He rubbed my back gently. "I wanna experience life. I maybe a trouble maker still, I'm a responsible person. One thing I got from my father."

"And Carter." He shook his head. "We have a different father, Moe."  I gasped. Why didn't I know that? Different father?

"My dad died when I was being delivered. He got into a traffic accident. So, Courtney remarried Carter's dad to look after us. He treat me like his own son. He was nice... just like my father."

I don't know what came over me that I gave Alexander a tight hugged.

"I'm sorry. You must be missing him." I can feel him hugging me back.

"Not really.. I never met him remember? Courtney told me all about him. Maybe I'm just feeling bad that I hadn't spend time with him."

I placed my empty bowl on the side table. And let myself doze off. I can feel his hand brushing my hair. And it made me feel at ease.

I woke up in a dark room. The sky is darker now. "What time is it?" I grabbed my phone but it's out of my reach. I looked at my side and saw Alexander's hand tightly wrapped around me.

"What the??"

He groaned and faced the other side. "I love you.." He said and I looked at him. He's still asleep. "Sleep talking?" I giggled.

1:45am, I stood up and walked to the kitchen. His house is a bit smaller than their old house. All his furniture are all made out of carved woods. He got a flat plasma T.V, a 45 inches  refrigerator, a washing machine, an electric stove and an oven.. he got a complete set of appliances. His refrigerator is overload.

"Want me to make you something?" I jumped in surprise. "Sorry, I got hungry. I didn't want to wake you up so—"

"It's okay. You haven't eaten dinner so I figured you'll get hungry." He took some bread and ham and started making me something. "Sorry if I slept next to you, I was making sure your fever subsided and I hadn't realize that I've fallen asleep."

"It's okay, no harm done. Thanks." I took a bite on the sandwich and it's really good. "You had a nice place. Don't be offended but you're feminine than I was. Your house is dust free."

He chuckled, "You wanna live here?" I nodded."Only if you become my servant." I joked.

He chuckled, "Sure."

I gently tap his forehead, "Yeah so Carter will kill me? Can you go to my house and clean it instead?" He grinned wickedly. "Nope, our deal is when you live here."

"Pack your bags and move out then?" He playfully shook his head. "Darn I can't believe you asked me to move out of my own house."

The two of us stayed 'til morning before he drive me back to my flat to change into my uniform.
