Kaneki's POV

"Haru?" i croak out over the phone, tears streaming down my face.

"Kaneki? how can i help?" Haru is a mechanic, we were great freinds in highschool.

"i need to borrow some rope."

"what for?"

"oh..uh..my window's broken." i lie. " how much for it?"

"no buddy, its on the house. i'll be over in half an hour."

"thanks..." i say hanging up the phone.

why.....why did Eric do that.....

with tears still streaming down my face, i grab my wallet and stumble out of the door.

i limp-run down the hill, still bleeding, and to the co-op near me.

opening my wallet i have a £20 note and 5 pounds in change.

great, just enough.

i walk to the bacck of the shop and smile as i see what i'm looking for. grabbing two bottles of vodka i go to the cashier and hand her my money. she gave me £3 change and i ran back to the dorm.

(time skip)

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! i scream in pain from sitting down, then i cover my mouth quickly.

i chuck my coat on the floor and rip my shirt off.changing into a pair of shorts i cry and gasp i pain as the event with Eric runs through my mind.

no.

i gasp.

i've held back for too long,

"N.....o..."

ken.

"WHY ME!?"i scream out, caring less about who hears me. his voice echos in my mind.

thats the last straw.

i grab the pack of 5 razor blades out of the drawer, when i hear someone knock at the door.

opening it i see a familiar face, with red hair and green eyes.

"oh, Haru."

"hey ken. i have the rope. the window doesn't look broken" Haru said, peering inside. "let's have a look at it." he says, handing me the rope and stepping into the dorm. before i could stop him he saw.

Haru's POV

stepping into Kaneki's room, i saw something that shocked me.

a single chair was in the middle of the room, with two bottles of vodka under it, and a box of razor blades that had spilled across the floor.

now i realised what he was going to do with the rope.

suddenly, i feel a hand grasp my arm and shove me out of the door. a topless kaneki blushes and stares at me.

"stay out of what doesn't concern you." he mutters to the ground. he puts his hand on his lower back and winces in pain.

i look down and see blood run down His leg.

"Kaneki why would you do something like...this..." i say.

"just leave me alone!" he yells, slamming the door in my face.

right, calm down Haru.

i flip my phone open and call a number. after 2 rings a lady answers the phone.
