I take a bite of my peanut butter icecream, chewing on the huge chunk of peanut butter cup.

"He kissed you?!" Lou practically screams, his voice screeching as he drags out the words, drawing attention to the groups of people in Cold Stone Creamery.

I shush him, blushing as people continue to stare.

"Well shit, give me details man!" He slams his fist on the table, laughing as he knows he's humiliating me. I tell him about the last couple weeks, how they consisted of nothing other than studying and silence, and today was different, today felt wonderful.

My heart fluttered, the whole ride home. He brought me to my house afterward, telling me he'd see me tomorrow at my house for studying and for the bonfire. I sat awkwardly, puzzled if I should hug him? Kiss him again? But I just waved goodbye.

I explain it was just a peck, but more than that. He gave me himself, and I gave him myself, as he ran his rough fingers across my chin, and looked into my eyes for seconds, but it felt like hours.

"Wow...well....happy first kiss?" He playfully taps his cup of icecream against mine, and I smile, slightly embarrassed it took this long to make the toast.

"I'd be careful though." I finish my spoonful of icecream, and ask with a mouthful what he means.

"Well, you'd be stupid not to be careful...he's Harry Styles...he's kind of a douche bag and heartless. He's been with more girls in this school than the hockey and football team combined, I doubt your the first or last girl he plays." I feel a sharp pain in my chest, and can't help but take offense to his harshly honest comment. I nod my head, avoiding making myself out to be the stupid girl he speaks of.

Niall wakes up earlier than normal today, since practice is before school since the game is at 4. I get up with him, taking a shower and saying goodbye as my mother leaves around the same time.

People barely put effort in school today, as they are too ready for the game and night of partying. I've already convinced myself I will not drink again, especially since I have work tomorrow morning.

The day is busy as I'm pulled and excused from classes, Me being in charge of decorating the hockey rink, making sure it's appropriate yet decorative. Lou walks around, taking pictures as we set up to put in the yearbook.

I can't help but still think of Harry. Is he thinking about me? Did he tell my brother?

Niall is the last person I can ask, since I'm no more than an annoying bee flying around his face.

People pile into the room, filling the bleachers. I sit by the rink, attending to the needs of staff and visitors. We stand for the national anthem, Ironic with the number of horrific costumes around. Me and Lou wear our yearly 'thing one, thing two' shirts, something we got back freshman year. My hair is in pig tails, and I wear blue jeans and toms. I have to remember to get a picture with Lou later.

I'm brought back to reality with the sound of the mic blaring and people cheering, as the hockey team skates onto the ice, my brother cockily screams and shouts, slamming on his chest and getting high off the attention. I can't help but roll my eyes. Harry is right behind him, smiling and waving, much more subtle than his best friend. My throats tightens, seeing him in the jersey from yesterday.

----

I get back to my house a little over an hour after the game, already hearing the music and see groups of people surrounding my house. Our neighbors must hate us.

I walk inside, skeptical if I should stay or go to my room. I feel my stomach grumble, and I take a deep breathe before going into the packed kitchen. Red solo cups fill the room, as well as many masked and skanky dressed people.
