Song for this Chapter- 'Reminding Me' Shawn Hook & Vanessa Hudgens

This here is a long, good chapter. Vote, comment, and enjoy xoxo

"You look great." Louis mother sprays another squirt of hairspray, creating a hardened shell that was once my hair. She brings a mirror to my face, giving me view behind me. My hair is elegantly pinned up, strands resting on my barren back. It's simple, yet classy.

My makeup is also subtle, my skin an even tone while my eyes bold and pretty. I stand, hugging her and saying thank you repeatedly. I follow behind her as she searches for Lou, eventually leading me to his father's room.

He stands, twirling me around to see the final product. He playfully wiggles his eyebrows, and brings me closer for a hug.

"If I were straight, I'd fuck you." I smack his arm at his dirty whisper in my ear, wrapping my arm around his as we laugh. He's dressed in a suit, something outside of both of our comfort zones. His black sick pants stick to him tight, and his white button up shapes his toned chest, he throws his jacket over his shoulder, resembling a model. His mother snaps picture after picture of us, telling us to smile and laughing as we pose.

Even though he can't speak, Lou's father's recliner faces us, and he has a smile on his face. He twitches often, but his smile never fades. Lou takes picture with his parents, and I snap the camera with each pose they tell me to capture.

"Alright you two, have fun! Lou no later than 1 please!" He nods, and we both say our goodbyes. We borrow Lou's mother's car, and blast music as we let the wind blow in our faces. I can't help but be nervous for the dance, reminding myself he won't be there.

The car ride is short, and the dance is cheesy yet pretty as you'd expect. Lights fill the gym, decorations brighten the area, and music fills my ears. The room is already filled, and I can't help to search if he's here.

If Harry's here.

"You look beautiful" I turn to the sound of Liam's voice, finding him in a white tux and blue tie. I can't help but cringe at his cheesiness, but smile at his bright smile. I hug him, thanking for his compliment. Lou stays seated at our table, taking tips of his sprite in between bites of cheesecake.

Liam waves at him, and he waves back.

"I believe you owe me a dance." He holds out his hand, his lips curved into a shy smile. I take his hand, giving Lou a small wave before I walk off.

We stop on the outer circle of people, and his hands rest on my hips, mine on his shoulders.

He keeps reminding me how good it was when we were crazy

I can't help but listen to the song, feeling my heart sink as Liam sways me back and forth. He smells nice, his hair combed back and face fully shaved. He's gentle, sweet, and I can tell he's nervous by the pounding of his chest.

He keeps reminding me that your still gone and I'm still lonely

I feel my eyes burn, as he brings me closer, hands at the crook of my back. He inches for my ear.

"I can't stop thinking about you." He pulls away to lift my chin, eyes connecting with his. They're so full of admiration, while mine begin to water. His face goes from happy to concerned.

His thumb rubs my chin, and by him licking his lips, I know he's nervous. He has eyes of hunger and admiration, something I had for Harry.

"Can I have Miss. Valedictorian please make it to the stage to announce our King and Queen please!" The crowd cheers, and I break our gaze, lifting my dress as I walk over to the stage. I take deep breaths, attempting to hide any sign of distraught.
