The hair on my arms and neck were standing on end. I couldn't believe my eyes. Was he here to rescue me from Tom, or kill me? Was I even on Earth? "How are you even real?" I asked calmly.
"It's amazing how little you mortals know about me. As you can see, I most certainly do exist, and you my dear are going to fit into my plan perfectly", he smiled with an evil looking grin.
"Plan, what plan. Does Tom know you really exist? He's the one who's keeping me here, so until you help me, I won't be helping anyone." I would've folded my arms and pouted, but as it was I couldn't. Damn these chains, I screamed in my head.
"Tom!" he began laughing hard. "Tom, isn't keeping anyone. YOU'VE never even met Tom!"
"It's been you the whole time? Oh.my.gosh!" I thought aloud. "If I've been with you, and this is...his home...then where is the real Tom Hiddleston, Loki!" I was becoming more angry by the minute. Loki practically flung himself down in front of me, though I did notice he was careful not to kneel. Of course he would want to avoid that. He was probably saving that for me.
Loki too was angry. He grabbed my face hard. "You listen, and you listen good...mortal." He practically spit the words out at me. "The only things you need to ever know, or understand is what I tell you, or ask you to do for me. I have your famous, precious Tom Hiddleston. I took him not long before I ran into you. You see...he was getting in my way. I mean he served his purpose, I suppose." Loki got up and was now pacing while reciting his information to me.
"You mortals don't think I catch up on my latest Midgard news? I've been studying and watching Tom ( thanks to Heimdall) for years now. I' knew he was playing me in all those movies, as you call them. I was not impressed. TOM'S BEEN MOCKING ME!!! he yelled, fists clinching as he continued to pace occasionally hitting a wall. "The only thing he's really done for me, is give me real power from his fans. So I've kidnapped him, shape shifted into him, while he rots in chains in Asgard until I decide if I'll keep him, or...kill him."
Loki seemed very pleased with the last part, to much for my liking. He was going to kill Tom Hiddleston, this fun, compassionate, dancing man? All because why? He was doing his job? I bet he never thought ("Gee, one day one of my characters will come back, be real, and seek revenge.") Poor Tom. What was I going to do? It's not like I can take the rainbow bridge on my own. Loki still wasn't done with our chat.
"What's a matter Sky? Not happy with the outcome of your precious Tom? No longer here to make you movies?" Loki snarled, very much enjoying seeing me upset by all this. I didn't answer, which I guess he didn't like, because within seconds his hand was pulling my hair, and my head back.
Ouch, I thought, though I wasn't going to give in that easily. He was pulling so hard, my eyes began to water. I'm not sure if it was from that, being scared, or both.
"You and your friend Zach, and yes I know about him, he's been spying on the both of us, are going to help me take over Midgard. Just like I've always wanted. I will stay disguised till the time is right, and you two will tell no one or Tom dies without so much as a finger snap. Do we have an understanding?" Again I didn't answer and he thankfully continued on.
"It will happen on the red carpet, at the Loki movie premiere. It was I, who was the friend of your friend. I, who got you the tickets to the premiere, I, who set you up in the hotel ( that's how I knew where you were). There, is where I'll finally announce to Midgard who there new King is, and since the Avengers don't exist, at least not to my knowledge, there will be no one around to stop me."
"How will Zach and I help you then?"
"You will be my wingmen, my back up. You will throw who needs to be thrown in the dungeons, among other duties, as well as tend to Tom in Asgard." Okay, now he officially had my attention. If I played along with him and helped him, then I could potentially save Tom and maybe with us, including Zach, take down Loki once and for all. It was a long shot and will be harder than it sounds, but I'm willing to do almost anything to insure Tom's safety. I eyed Loki and smiled with an evil grin of my own.
"I"ll do it!" I said confindently.
"Good girl," he said rubbing his thumb across my cheek. "That's what I wanted to hear. I could sure use a beautiful woman by my side." Before I knew it, Loki Laufeyson's soft, thin lips were on mine, and you know I didn't like it cause of who he was, but I actually didn't hate it either because of how deliciously handsome he was. I had to remind myself of my own plan I still needed to form, and not let Loki the god of mischief and lies get in my way. No matter what.
