(Sky's POV)
I knew time was ticking, and it was getting down to the wire before I'd be helping Loki fulfill his dream. Suddenly my phone rang and it was in my pocket! "Ha", I yelped! Loki, who up until this moment I believed was reasonably smart, had forgotten to take my phone. That's probably because on Asgard that's not something he's had to think much about.
It kept ringing, but with these chains it was making it almost impossible to get to it. Hey... I said almost. Just when I had it by the tip of my fingers Loki appears out of thin air and takes it away. I glared up at him, sending him my own evil stare.
"Loki!" I shouted. My voice nearly bouncing off the walls.
"Yes Sky", he asked like we'd just been having a friendly conversation.
"Give me my phone! It could be important! You know... they're are people on this plant who are probably worried about me."
"Oh, I know." Smiling he made a chair appear out of nowhere and sat down. "I don't even have to look at this to know it's Zach", he said, holding up the phone to his forehead like he could sense who it was. "Here's what you're going to do. When he calls back, and he will, you'll answer as if everything is...peachy. When he asks where you are, you'll tell him and he'll show up, and don't you worry your pretty little head about what happens next, that's my job." I swear his evil grin grew a mile long. He definately gets off on being "The Bad Guy" Loki walked over, bent down, and kissed the top of my head, then vanished. Zach, I thought , please don't come.
Around an hour later my phone did ring. The only reason I knew, is because Loki had taken it and when it started to ring he ran in, and before putting it up to my ear, reminded me of our earlier chat. He pressed accept and held it up to me.
"Hey Zach", I said casually. "What's up?"
"You're alright?' he sounded quite surprised.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be? I chuckled. Wow, maybe I should've been an actor.
"How's Tom?''
Oh gosh, I forgot, poor Zach still thought I was with Tom and I wished I was too. It took me a while to answer. "He's great...really great!" I knew my unsteady voice didn't match the excited, happy tone I was aiming for. Please don't ask where I am, please don't ask where I am, I repeated and begged him in my head.
"So, where are you?"
"Damn!" he asked (the) question. Loki was practically glowing with joy. It was becoming obvious he could also read thoughts.
"Tom's place?" I asked while clearing my throat that had suddenly turned dry.
"Yeah, where's that at?"
I ended up telling Zach, and he said he wanted to hang out with us, so guess who's on the way.
