(Sky's POV)
It was so weird to be in the same room as both Tom and Loki. Something I'd often thought about, but of course knew it wouldn't happen. Now look at me! Here I am! It's all so surreal. Loki nodded to me that it ws ok to make my way over to Tom. I began walking over the long stone, cold floor, towards him. His blue eyes looking me over curiously the whole time. As I looked back over my shoulder, I noticed Loki had left. My walk coming to an end, I stood standing over Tom as he sat looking up at me.
(Tom's POV)
Who was this Asgardian, and what did she want? Well, it couldn't be good if she's works for Loki. She seemed harmless enough. She was clearly beautiful. Long black hair, big brown eyes. I can certainly see why Loki kept her around, but why send her to me? There she stood over me, crouching down, she began to speak.
"Hi Tom, so nice to finally, really, meet you." I'd decided it would be best not to answer, just to be safe. "I'm Sky, from Earth." Oh, so she wasn't Asgardian after all. I guess she thought I needed to know that, and infact I did. She went on to say- "Look Tom, I don't know how long I've got with you today, so I'm just going to give it to you straight." I raised my eyebrows quizzically.
"I'm listening," I managed to get out.
She took a deep breath. This must be serious. "It's like this. As you may or may not know, Loki has been shape shifting into you." Yeah, I thought, I did know. " I, along with my friend Zach have been taken prisoner by Loki. We are to help him take over Earth. I'm here now to "tend" to you, which I will, but we also need you on our side, to help destroy Loki, for good."
This was a lot of information to take in. She must be lying. Loki probably sent her in here just to tell me this, so I'll slip and say something, giving him a reason to finally hurt me in some way. I knew he'd been disguising himself as me, but taking over Earth, I didn't know it had even gone that far. I thought he was just mad at me for "mocking him" as he stated previously to me.
"Did Loki put you up to this, just to see how I'd respond? Unbelievable. Well it won't work."
"Ugh! No Tom, I'm telling you the truth. We don't have time for this," she whispered the last part in my ear.
I sat thinking for a moment. "Fine." I was still suspicious. "I'll trust you for now. Seems as though you're my only hope as of yet. What choice do I really have? Count me in."
(Sky's POV)
"Yes! A chance, that's all I can ask for. Tom...are you hurt?"
"Mentally yes, physically, no, not yet. I was taken whilst in London. Imagine my shock when I found out by who. It hasn't been to bad yet, but still, I have no idea what he might be planning for me. With the way his mind works, it's anyone's guess."
"I'm so sorry this happened to you. A-are you scared? I'm only asking because when I think of you as a person, I always picture you to be so positive, and strong."
"Yeah, well he's much stronger."
"Oh trust me I know, he broke Zach's hand," I giggled, from nerves. "I never pictured meeting you this way." I looked down to the hard, cold ground. I felt as though I could cry at any moment. Seeing Tom this way really broke my heart. I wanted so badly just to comfort him, love him, take care of him. My maternal instincts kicked in for this man, and since that's what I was suppose to be doing, I better get started before Loki comes back.
I called out to the guards to release him from his chains. They hesitated, but eventually did so. Tom rubbed his sore wrists tenderly. I asked the servants to bring Tom and I both some food, as I too was starving. While they were making that, I ran a bath for Tom, from a bathroom that was connected to his room. He looked so tired, and not normal tired, but a stressed tired, over thinking kind of tired. How was I going to get him out of here? There has got to be a way...anyway. I turned around as Tom took off his clothes and settled into the tub.
"You can look now," he said sweetly, with a half smile.
He was beautiful, and soooo manly. Between his low voice, that could kill a woman, and his amazing physique, I couldn't take my eyes off him. Think clearly Sky, think clearly.
"I'll just...um stand out her and help set up the food, I'm sure you know how to wash yourself."
"Eheheh, I do, but I could very much use a bit of company, I don't get very many visitors these days."
"Right," I spoke softly.
"Actually, while you're here, could you be a darling and wash my back for me? That is if it's not to much trouble."
I took my time walking over, and grabbed the wet wash cloth from him. I began putting the warm cloth against his soft skin, gently massaging the tense out of him. I hoped this was as good for him as it was me. The subtle moan I got from him told me it was.
"Enjoying ourselves, are we?"
Startled, I turned facing the giant door, and leaning up against the wall , one ankle over the other, arms crossed, stood Loki.
"A little slow Sky," he said rather bored, while looking over his fingernails. "I'd thought you'd be done with my guest by now."
I could feel the anger coming off of Tom. "Guest!" he shouted, and I couldn't blame him.
"What Tom, you don't like it here?"
"Do you have ANY idea what you're doing to me, my career, my LIFE!?"
"Well Thomas, you might not have to worry about that much longer...unless."
"Unless what... unless what?"
"Unless," Loki only now began to look up. "Unless you should start to see things my way and be my second in command. That's right Thomas, I'm offering you a spot amongst me. We can either co-exist, or be enemies forever. You're choice," loki says while holding up his hands as if to say he's innocent and defenseless. "You did play me you know. Am I really that bad? Have I hurt you thus far?"
"N-no-no-no! I need time to think!"
"WE HAVEN'T GOT TIME TOM, THAT'S JUST IT!"
Was I really hearing all this right? Was Tom playing Loki just as much as I was, or was he really considering taking this offer?
"Then in that case Loki, my answer is...no."
"Have it your way, you wanna play with the big boys Thomas? Sky, finish feeding him and then leave him to me. I wish to spend time with him...alone."
