Jack has been living with me for at least a week and a half. Long enough for everyone to eat all the food in the house. Which brings me to why me and Chica are running errands. I gotta take her to the groomers, then I'm gonna grab a some groceries, then we're gonna go home.

"Atta girl." Me and Chica clamored into the car and drove home. I had a backseat full if food, and a front seat full of a clean dog.
Life was do perfect right now. Me and Jack have a steady relationship, his stupid ex hasn't been bothering us, Anna's began to want me too alongside her dad. So, so perfect right now.
Watch me jinx it.
I'd pulled into the driveway and let Chica out of the car. Then I grabbed all 6 bags of groceries and kicked open the front door, only finding someone had beat me to it... The house was a mess. Things were broken and lying on the floor, the table had been flipped too. I don't even wanna see upstairs.
"Jack?" I called, worried. I set the bags on the kitchen counter and wandered the house. I heard Anna, but I couldn't find her. Chica went racing up the stairs with a bark.
"Did you find them?!" I shouted after her. She whined and pawed at the bedroom door. Anna's cries were louder. I opened the door and saw her laying on the floor next to the bed.
"Anna!" I kneeled to her. She looked perfectly fine. Not a scratch or bruise on her. I picked her up and cuddled her against me. Her cries subsided into whines and wimpers while I pulled out my phone to call Jack.
"Good girl Chica." She looked at me happily while a very unhappy sound came from my phone. Voicemail. I called again and Chica ran out the door again. I curiously followed her and found her scratching at the bathroom door. Jack's ringtone became louder. I hung up my phone and put it away to open the door. Chica laid down like she was in trouble and whined. When I opened the door... God... There was so much blood. I saw Jack's phone in the bathtub, but there was no clear path to it without stepping in a puddle of blood.
"Dark..." I squeezed my eyes shut and said his name over and over again, letting the tears fall through them too.
"What?" I heard his deep voice just inches from my ear. I opened my eyes and saw him standing next to me.
"Dark." My voice cracked. "Do you know where Jack is?"
"Dunno. It depends where Anti is." He huffed.
"Can you find him, please?" I begged.
"Why?" He snapped.
"Because if Jack isn't here then Anti won't be either!" I countered with tears pouring down my face, just like Anna.
"I don't care about him." He growled.
"Please." I began to give up.
After a few moments of thinking, and just staring at me, he answered.
"Fine."
"Oh thank you Dark!" I put my head on his chest.
"Get off." He said gruffly. I obeyed. With my free hand I dried my face of any tears.
"You should probably clean all that up before it stains." He looked at the bathroom.
"Ya, right." I turned back into the bedroom and fixed Anna's crib again, changed her, and set her in there.
Then I went to work on the rest of the house, starting with the bathroom.
Grabbing my supplies I mopped it all up and worked on one stain that was about to start. Putting all our bathroom stuff back in order, I finished.
I went downstairs and put all the groceries away, and then picked up all the broken things, throwing them away.
Then I picked the table back up and put all the chairs in their rightful places.
"Chica! I called loudly. Only moments later she came bounding down the stairs with a rope in hand. Paw. Mouth. Whatever fuck you.
I pointed for her to go out where the sun was setting.
God, it's already... 6:58? Dark had been gone for almost 2 hours.
I started to freak out again.
"Dark? Dark!" I called over and over for him until my voice got hoarse.
"Dark..." I said weakly one last time before I sank down in the middle of the kitchen floor.
It was 7:30. I need to go feed Anna.
When I entered the bedroom, I saw Anna still fast asleep. If she doesn't eat now then she'll get cranky later.
I woke her up and fed her the bottle I'd brought up here. Me and her were just talking and trying to was the time to get our minds off the situation. Mostly me, but it made me feel better.

Afterwards I got really tired, really fast. I let myself sink into the bed and try to fall asleep.
"Mark!" I jumped and looked around, but no one was there.
"Mark!" No one was here. What the fuck is going on? Wait.
"Dark?" I questioned to the empty room. He appeared in front of me holding Jack in his arms bridal style. I took a step forward and grabbed just as he was about to fall.
Both of them were messed up.
"Dark!" I set Jack next to me. "What happened?"
"I'll tell ya later." He whispered before passing out.
