Perrie woke up at eight that morning to find tabby snuggled up next to her, Perrie kissed her forehead gently not wanting to startle the sleeping girl. Alex had woken up to find that Perrie wasn't in the bed, he went to tabithas room where he found them both, "morning pez" he whispered, Tabitha was obviously used to getting up around this time as she opened her eyes with ease and smiled softly, "morning Tabitha" Alex added, "morning" Perrie and tabby smiled back. The family ate breakfast and both Perrie and Alex went to get dressed whilst Tj watched the tv. Once Perrie was ready she went and got Tabitha to come upstairs, "right so we got you a load of clothes, obviously I didn't know what your style was but you can pick out the things you don't like or that don't it and we can send them back ok" Perrie exclaimed to the small girl, "oh really! Thank you thank you thank you!" Tabitha smiled happily at perrie who then helped her choose her outfit for the day, they decided a simple and casual outfit would do as they were only going to jades house.

Tabithas outfit
"Perrie, thank you so much" tabby reiterated as she came out from her room, "oh babe you look so cute and comfy" Perrie awed over the little girl in front of her, by this point it was already 10 am because they spent so much time downstairs after breakfast. "Ladies" Alex announced as he walked through the door, "your car awaits" he added making both Perrie and tabitha giggle. They followed him out to the car and got in their seats, Tabitha sat in the back whilst Alex and perrie were in the front, "you sure you're okay back there?" Perrie asked for a third time as she turned to look at Tabitha who just smiled happily and nodded in reply.
She was really looking forward to meeting jade and the girls, the drive was only five minutes so they were there in no time. "Come on babe" Perrie smiled as she held her hand out for Tabitha, she ran a little to catch up with them both and grabbed hold of their hands. As Alex noticed what she'd done he looked at perrie, who looked at him with a smile on her face knowing that little by little Tabitha was getting more comfortable around them. So far the three were the only ones here, they rang the doorbell and didn't wait very long until jade came and opened it, "hello!" Jade beamed as she opened the door, she then noticed the small girl between Perrie and Alex, jade looked down at her and smiled, "and who do we have here?" She asked as the three walked into her house, "Tabitha" the little girl spoke quietly in reply to jade, who heard her perfectly first time, "well Tabitha, welcome to my humble home, which in a few minutes will probably be trashed by jesy and Leigh! But welcome petal, have a seat or just do whatever you'd like to" jade smiled as she spoke contently to the young girl. Tabitha nodded unsure of what to say, "babe, what would you like to do?" Perrie whispered to her, "can I watch tv?" Tabby asked quietly, "of course baba, come on" Perrie said calmly taking tabby's hand and walking towards the door, she turned her head to jade before mouthing 'I'll sort her' and smiling. Once Tabitha was watching the tv Perrie rejoined Alex and jade in the kitchen, "so, when did this happen?" Jade questioned, still confused at he situation. "Well, we'd been thinking about adopting for a while, and we saw a picture of Tabitha and we just knew she was the one for us, she came home with us yesterday and she's settling fairly well. She's a very shy little girl and also very delicate but I'm sure we can toughen her up slightly" Perrie exclaimed to jade. "Why do you look like you've not slept though pez, are you sure this is the right thing?" Jade questioned, she was worried about her best friend and her health. "Oh I woke up to her crying in the night because she was scared of being alone but I stayed with her and we're sorted" she replied. "Okay. Well she's gorgeous, and she really does remind me of you Perrie" jade smiled accepting perries explanation.
"I'm gonna go and sit with her anyway, she's my baby now" Perrie smiled as she walked towards the lounge. Jade made Alex and perrie a cup of tea each and left the kettle ready for when jesy and Leigh got to the house. Alex and jade also went to joking Perrie and Tabitha, who were sat next to each other, perries arms around tabby in a protective way. Alex was quick to join the two on the sofa, and jade sat in her favourite chair. "So Tabitha, what's your full name?" Jade questioned, tabby looked up uncertain of what to say, " Tabitha jade" she said softly, "jades your middle name ?" Jade asked confused, tabby nodded, "what's your last name?" Jade added, "I- I don't know, when I joined the care home they wouldn't tell me my last name, so I just don't have one" Tabitha replied. "What about oxlade-chamberlain-edwards like these two?" Jade asked. Tabby looked at perrie and the at Alex, she didn't know what to answer and she didn't think they'd want her to take their last name. "I think we'll talk about it with her at a later date" Alex said politely.
Soon enough Leigh's no jesy arrived, although they didn't knock, they walked straight in and sat down. The two were so excited that they didn't even realise the small girl that was now curled up even more than before and was tucked under Alex's arm, jade cleared her throat so that the pair could hear and they quickly turned around. "Jesy, Leigh, this is Tabitha" Alex said smiling, their mouths opened wide unsure of what to do, "hey Tabitha" Leigh said sweetly before heading off to get a drink, "hi sweet" jesy said before she joined Leigh in the kitchen. "Oh Alex, Jed should be home soon so you can hang with him" jade said as she got up to go and explain the situation to the two girls to save Alex and perrie some time.
"Babe, are you ok?" Perrie asked Tabitha, "yeh, I just really hope they all like me" tabby replied with a small smile, "they will like you tabby" Alex added. Once jade had explained everything to Leigh and jesy they all came back in and continued to watch the tv, jesy, Leigh and jade were in awe of the small girl who looked similar to Perrie, she was completely oblivious to the fact that they were all staring at her. "Right guys, game time" jade said as the tv show ended, "what game will it be this time jade?" Perrie asked inquisitively knowing that it would probabLy be scrabble first and then the game of life. "Scrabble" jade smiled back leaving the three other band members in fits of laughter.
"Right we'll have four players so jesy you're on your own. Leigh you're on your own. I'm on my own, and then Perrie and Tabitha you're a team" jade said as she got the game from the box, Tabitha smiled happily and moved towards Perrie, they were all sat on the floor around the square board. "Wanna sit on my lap Teej?" Perrie whispered to tabby, she looked up and nodded as she was quite cold sat on the floor. Perrie gently picked tabby up and moved her onto her knee, she leant back against perries chest and Perrie gently stroked her head, "you sure you're ok" she whispered not wanting the others to hear, tabby nodded softly but it was enough to assure Perrie that she was fine.
As they were playing the game the girls noticed that jade was bringing out her competitive side, which would be ok but she has some good scoring words stored in her head. They all expected that she was going to win however, as tabby got more into the game she was placing all the words and Perrie was just watching. Once they had finished the game the winner was announced "Perrie and tabby win" jade smiled, "yay! Teej how do you know so many big words?" Perrie asked, "there wasn't much to do before you adopted me and the only book I had was a dictionary so I read it multiple times" tabby said softly.
They sat talking for a few hours and the girls tried to get to know tabby, which didn't work too well because she's so shy, but Perrie was really happy of what she'd done today as she'd only known her and Alex for a day. They then played the game of life which Leigh won, and then they had dinner which Alex and Jed had made for them.
After they'd eaten they all went back into the lounge, Perrie put the base of the sofa up for her feet and Tabitha lay next to her, Perrie wrapped her arm around tabby and she placed her head on perries chest. Alex joined the two on the sofa whilst jesy and Leigh returned to their seats from before. Jed sat on the chair than jade had been sat on and she sat gently on his knee. They were all talking for a while before Leigh looked over to Perrie and Alex, "I think you two might want to go now" she smiled as she signalled for them to look at tabby who was fast asleep on Perrie, "yeh I think we'll make a move then" Alex said as he stood up. "Do you want to borrow a blanket so she's not cold on the way home?" Jade asked politely, "aw please jadey" Perrie smiled. Jade end to get a blanket for tabby, meanwhile Alex lifted her gently from the sofa and carried her out into the hall, "by you lot" Perrie smiled as she got up and walked out to join them. Jade came back with a pink fluffy blanket and she wrapped it around tabby who was still asleep with her head on Alex's shoulder. "Thanks jadey" Perrie smiled as she gave her best friend a hug, "no problem, see you soon" jade smiled.
Once they got home Alex carried tabby upstairs and placed her in her bed, "goodnight" he said quietly and gave her a kiss on the forehead, Perrie then came upstairs and sat next to her, she realised that tabby was still in her clothes but she didn't want to wake her, "goodnight princess" she whispered as she kissed her goodnight.
