Better than front row

The next day jacks mum dropped him off just before lunchtime, tabitha rushed to the door when she heard the doorbell and was followed by perrie who never really like her opening the door on her own just in case. "Hi" tabitha smiled as she opened the door, "hiya" jack smiled back, "you can come in you know you don't have to stand outside" tabitha laughed, "ahah thanks" jack said walking into the house. It was much larger than his house and obviously much more expensive, he couldn't wait to have a look around. "Mum, this is jack, And jack this is my mum" tabitha said, "hi Mrs Oxlade chamberlain" jack smiled, "hi jack, it's lovely to meet you but you call me perrie okay" perrie smiled. "Teej I'm just going to grab oaks and dingo, your dads in the kitchen sorting lunch" she said before walking off upstairs.

"I guess I'll take you to meet my dad then" tabitha giggled, "he won't hate me right?" Jack asked, "oh no. He already likes you don't worry, if he's a bit weird he's just being protective, mum said it's a dad thing" tabitha explained before taking jack to the kitchen, "dad, this is jack, jack this is my dad", "hi mr Oxlade chamberlain" jack said, "hiya mate, and it's alex to you yeh? I'm sure perries already had that conversation though" alex laughed, "we're just gonna go sit in the cinema room whilst we wait for lunch dad" tabitha said, "k Teej I'll get you when it's ready" alex smiled.

Tabitha and jack left the kitchen and headed towards the cinema room. "You have a cinema room? Why didn't you tell me?" Jack said stunned at how big and fancy tabithas house was. "Didn't really think I needed to, but here it is" tabitha giggled opening the door and walking inside. "Wow. I don't think I ever want to leave your house T" jack smiled taking a seat on the sofa. Tabitha laughed before sitting herself down next to jack and leaning back into the cushions that covered the back of the sofa, she grabbed the remote and begun flicking through the TV guide trying to find something they could watch whilst waiting for lunch. There wasn't really much on so tabitha just left cake boss playing. Jack placed his left arm around tabitha and linked his left hand with hers, "you look really pretty today by the way" he smiled, "thank you" tabitha blushed. "I do really like you Teej, just so you know. I really hope you feel the same" jack said quietly, tabitha nodded a little, "I really like you too jack, like a lot" she smiled turning to face jack a little more. "I know it's probably a bit rushed since this is technically only our second date but we've been friends for at least a year now, and I really just want to spend as much time with you as possible so will you be my girlfriend?" Jack asked, tabitha could tell it had taken a lot of courage to ask especially whilst all her family were in the house, which was made obvious by how quiet he was being. "Yeah, course I will" tabitha smiled leaning into jacks arm a little more giving him a hug. "Can I kiss you?" Jack whispered into Tabithas ear, she nodded slightly before placing her lips on his. It wasn't a long kiss, only a couple of seconds but it was perfect for a first kiss in Tabithas eyes. She pulled away slightly, still holding jacks hand and smiled at him, "that was nice right? It was good for you too?" Jack asked quietly, "yeah stop worrying" tabitha giggled, "it was perfect jack" she smiled.

A few minutes later they heard a knock at the door and perrie poked her head in, "lunch is ready guys" she smiled. Jack and tabitha stood up and followed perrie into the kitchen where alex, Oakley and indigo were already eating. They all sat down and grabbed a plate before helping themselves to the food alex had put in the table, "Oakley, indigo are you going to say hi to jack?" Perrie asked, "hi jack" indigo smiled with a mouthful of food, "hi indigo" jack laughed, "not with your mouth full baby" perrie complained with a small laugh, oakley still hadn't said anything "oaks is the one who's not talking to you, she's stubborn" tabitha said, "ah okay, hi oakley, I'm jack" he smiled giving oakley a little wave. Oakley looked down at the floor and poured before lifting her head a little and waving at jack. "Well it's a start" alex laughed. "So jack what sort of stuff you into?" Alex asked, "uhm, I play a little football, but I'm more into my music, I play the drums and guitar. Other than that I don't know really, I enjoy media and business based things as well I guess" jack shrugged a little. "How long have you played drums and guitar for then?" Perrie smiled, "I've played the drums since I was about seven I think, I had a little kids drummer before that but I stated lessons when I was seven. And the guitar i've played my whole life really. My dad was really into the guitar so he always has a few around the house and got me playing simple stuff when I was really young" jack replied. "Oh wow that's great, Alex and I can both play guitar, and he can drum too" perrie smiled, "that's sick do you not play anything Teej?" Jack asked wondering why he'd not yet heard about her parents love fore playing musical instruments, "hmm not really no, i can play a few simple chords on the guitar that mums taught me but I don't really enjoy playing it that much so just never do" tabitha explained. Jack nodded before continuing to eat his food. "This is really good, thank you" jack smiled looking at Alex and perrie, "no need to thank us but you're very welcome" alex smiled back. The family and jack all finished eating around the same time, perrie was the first to speak, "right oaks, dingo you need to choose what you're wearing for the show, I have to be there at around 3 ish so we need to leave within the next half hour". The two young girls ran upstairs to find some clothes to wear, "I'm going to have to help them and make sure they don't look ridiculous but if you two don't need anything just chill somewhere" perrie smiled running after the younger two. "Do you need any help clearing the plates away alex?" Jack asked, "I think I'll be alright but thanks for the offer jack" alex smiled at the teenage boy. "Dad can you let us know when we're leaving please? We're both ready so I thought we could just chill in the cinema room again" tabitha said, "yeah course Teej" Alex smiled.
