Can i tell you something?

After taking Tabitha to see Georgie and Matt, perrie and Alex started to see some slight improvements, they knew it would take a while but they were sure they were starting to get their Tabitha back to normal. They had booked a holiday for the weekend so that they could spend some quality time with Tabitha and hopefully get her feeling much happier.

"Mummy?" Perrie heard from behind her, "yes sweetheart" she replied turning around and smiling at her daughter, "can I tell you something?" Tabitha asked. Perrie nodded and followed Tabitha into the lounge, "I've been worrying about something" she said. Perrie nodded but allowed Tabitha to continue, "a few years ago at the care home someone broke in. There was a group of people some men and some women, they were shouting and screaming and they took things from us. They snatched things from my hands and hit me, they punched us and tried their best to hurt us. And it scares me. Because, because what if it happens here, what if someone breaks in here and tries to hurt us. And no one helped us. No one that worked at the care home, they watched us get hurt. It scares me" Tabitha said. Perrie listened intently before speaking up, "is this why you've been acting differently, because you're scared?" Tabitha nodded, "I'm sorry" she whispered. "Oh sweetheart you don't need to be sorry, you shouldn't be sorry for being scared baba, but why have you only been talking to me until the other day?". Tabitha sat for a moment, "I think it's just because I trusted the people at the care home and none of them helped us. What if I trust people here and they don't help us?" She said, "Teej you know your dad will always help you" perrie said, Tabitha nodded, "I know, and now he hates me because I wouldn't talk to him or stay with him" she whispered with a tear rolling down her cheek. "Oh babe he doesn't hate you, he loves you very much, he always will. Why don't you go and find him for a cuddle?" Perrie suggested. Tabitha nodded before getting up and going to find Alex.

Perrie was extremely proud of Tabitha for telling her what was going on the past few weeks and she knew that Tabitha would start to regain her confidence once she'd had a nice weekend away with both perrie and Alex. She walked into the hall and pulled the last of the bags to the door before walking upstairs to get some socks and shoes. As she got to the door of her room she saw Tabitha cuddled up to Alex, a smile crept onto her face as she awed over a sight that she had not seen in a while.

Perrie pushes the door open a bit and walked into hers and Alex's room, she grabbed a pair of socks from her drawer and sat on the edge of the bed to put them on, "hey" Alex whispered, "hiya, you two look comfy" perrie smiled referring to her favourite people. Once she had her socks on she lay down and joined the other two for a few minutes, "we've not had a family cuddle like this in ages" she sighed happily embracing all the love in the room. "It's lovely, I've missed it" Alex said, "I've missed it too. I'm sorry I made you both so upset" Tabitha whispered.

"Baba, you don't need to be sorry. We weren't upset because of you, we were upset because we were worried about you and we care about you" perrie sighed, "but we need to go now so get your shoes and coat on and grab your stuff for the car, we'll meet up by the door" she added. Tabitha stood up and went to her room leaving Alex and perrie alone for a bit. "She told me everything before. About why she's been so distant" perrie said, "I'm glad, she needed to get it off her chest. She's improving already" Alex smiled. "Right come on, let's go" perrie said as she grabbed her vans from the cupboard.

Once they were ready they grabbed the bags and packed them in the car before going back inside and getting Tabitha. "Come on sweetheart" perrie smiled, "mummy. I've brought my teddy for in the car. Is that ok?" Tabitha questioned, "of course baba, I've got your colouring books as well" perrie smiled taking hold of Tabitha hand and walking towards the front door. "You go and get in the car, we'll be out in a second" perrie said.

After three hours in the car they were all starting to get tired, "right I'll stop at the next service station and we can grab a bit to eat and have a walk around" Alex said. They still had another two and a half hours to go and he knew they wouldn't make it if they didn't have a stop and rest for a bit. Luckily for them the next service station was just five minutes down the road which they got to very quickly, "let's go girls" Alex smiled as he got out the car. Tabitha undid her seatbelt as did perrie and they both got out as well. "What are we getting to eat?" Perrie asked, "I thought we could get a McDonald's as a treat" Alex smiled, perrie and tj both nodded their heads happily.
