Alex had gone to football training so Perrie and Tabitha were still at home, "tab are you ready sweet" Perrie asked, Tabitha nodded as she walked into the hall to meet Perrie. The girls had a radio interview today so the taxi was picking them up, the pair grabbed their bags and  walked out to meet the three who were already in the taxi. Tabitha climbed in, followed by Perrie. The taxi was a seven seater, leigh and jesy in the back, and then the middle row was taken by jade, Tabitha and perrie. "Morning pez, morning Tj" jade smiled, "hey lovelies" Perrie said loudly, "hi jade" Tabitha whispered in reply.

The girls security had said that Perrie would have to walk inside alone (as would jesy, Leigh and jade) as they had to make sure she could walk quickly past the paps, she had protested against them because she didn't want to leave tab with strangers. "Babe, we're here now. I need you to stay with security, I'll let the other three girls go before me but we need to walk quick to get through the paps" Perrie explained, "d-do I have to?" Tabby asked. "It'll only be for a minute or two until we get in and then we'll be back together again ok? I didn't want to do it like this but we have to otherwise we'll both be in trouble. They'll keep you safe from the paps, I promise" Perrie added. By this point jesy and Leigh were already inside, and jade had just gone, suddenly Perrie's security guard helped her out of the van and took her in. "Tabitha come on" a large man said grabbing hold of her arm, she stepped out and cameras immediately began flashing in her face with people crowding all around her. Her breaths became shorter and she started to panic, as she got to the door tears were streaming down her face. She ran through the door as quick as she could whilst security shut it. Her body was shaking as her breaths stayed short but fast, she sat down against the wall as instructed by security. "Perrie!" One man shouted. Another one ran to the door she'd just gone through, he opened it quickly "Perrie quick!" He shouted.

Before they knew it Perrie ran in to see Tabitha in tears, she ran straight over to her and sat on the floor next to her. Perrie looked at all the security stood around her "can we have a bit of privacy please" she asked, they all understood and left quickly. Perrie had one arm around Tabitha "shh baby, it's okay, I'm here babe. Shh" she cooed to Tabitha who looked noticeably weak, her breathing started to return to normal as she dried the tears from her eyes. Perrie stood up a helped Tabitha to do the same, they walked over to the sofa that was in that room and sat down, tabby was sat on perries knee curled up to her. "Oh baby, it's okay" Perrie said, "what happened?". "The cameras and the people. They scared me" she said quietly. Perrie hugged the small girl even tighter. "I'll stay with you next time, promise" she whispered.

"Pez, everything ok?" Paul asked as he walked in, "yeh thanks Paul, just a shock you know with the paps n stuff" she replied. "You ready to go?" He asked her as it was about time for the girls to go live. "Yeh but can I take Teej in with me. Please, I can't leave her after that" Perrie pleaded, Paul nodded knowing that he wouldn't get around Perrie and her decision.

Perrie lifted Tabitha, who clung onto Perrie, and walked into the 'recording room' she sat on the chair closest to the door as it was the only one left. Tabitha was sat on her knee, leaning against her chest.

"So we're here with the ladies of little mix!" The host said. He went on with asking the girls some questions from fans, the last question was especially for Perrie, "Perrie, how are you and Alex doing? And how come the both of you have been so inactive in social media this week?" The host read out from the screen. "Well we're great actually, happier than ever!" She beamed, "and what about social media?" The host reiterated, Perrie looked at Paul and then at Tabitha as if to ask if she could say. She then looked at her phone and saw a text from Alex saying 'tell them the truth😊😉xx' (she knew he must've been listening) "erm well, actually it's because of this little treasure here. We adopted Tabitha two days ago, it was a long process to get to the point where we could meet her but she's the most adorable little girl and I love her to bits" Perrie smiled making all the girls 'awww'

They finished up the interview and the girls went back into the other room, they started gathering their coats and bags and heading out one by one. It got to perries turn to go out and she refused to leave Tabitha with anyone else, "mummy- Perrie I don't want to!" Tabitha cried clearly upset over the situation with the paps, "do you want me to get Paul as well and then the paps won't see you?" Perrie questioned, Tabitha nodded as they came to a conclusion. Perrie got Paul and then lifted tabby up, she clung to Perrie and buried her face in the crook of her neck whilst Paul held a jacket up to stop the paps getting pictures of the two from tabithas side, and the security man on the next side protecting the both of them. Thankfully they made it to the van safely and climbed inside, tabitha sat in between Perrie and jade again.

They were halfway back when jade tapped Perrie and she realised tabby was asleep, leaning on jades shoulder.
Perrie felt her phone vibrate in her pocket so she decided to check it.

Alex: how was it? X

Perrie: Tj had a panic attack as she was walking in because of the paps, but I calmed her down and she stayed on my knee through the whole interview xx

Alex: really?! Hope you're both ok, see you in about 10 mins? Xx

Perrie: yeh not long left to go now, they're dropping us home before the other girls xx

Alex: is she ok now ? Xx

Perrie: she's leaning on jade and shes asleep, I think the panic attack took it out of her to be honest xx

Alex: poor baby xx

Perrie: how was training ? Xx

Alex: eh, it was alright I guess, nothing much happened xx

Perrie: bet she'd have preferred to go with you today in the end xx

Alex: she'd have been bored anyway but I bet she loved the actual interview part xx

Perrie: well she didn't talk but she was on my knee the whole time so she better have xx

The van stopped outside and perrie and Tabitha climbed out and said bye to the girls. Perrie held her hand as they walked inside, the two went straight to the lounge to find Alex sat with Otis, hatchi and Leo. "Follow me girls" Alex smiled at them and ruled them to the dining room, "dinner is served" he added making Tabitha giggle. Tabitha was very like Perrie in the sense that she could eat a lot but put no weight on. Both Perrie and Tj finished their meals before Alex, "Jesus you were hungry" Alex said in shock, "mhmm, we worked hard today didn't we Teej " Perrie smiled, Tabitha nodded in reply, she didn't really want to talk about what happened because she was fine now.

Once Alex had finished they all went back to the lounge and sat together, "Perrie, Alex, can I ask you something please" Tabitha said quietly, "sure teej" Alex replied. "Erm well you know cause I'm living here now and you adopted me. Can I- can I call y- you" Tabitha couldn't get her words out from the fear they'd say no, "call us mum and dad?" Perrie said for her, Tabitha nodded and died from relief, "of course you can, you didn't need to ask" Alex smiled at her.

The family all sat and watched tangled, which for Tabitha was her first time because they didn't have a lot of films at the care home. Perrie was sat cuddled up to Alex and Tabitha was sat sideways over both their laps, "thank you" she whispered, "what for baby?" Perrie asked. "For picking me, for bringing me here, for taking me with you today, for getting me so much stuff. You're the only people who have ever cared so much for me" she said softly in her quiet voice, "oh Teej, baby I don't know how people couldn't care this much for you" Perrie replied, "my parents didn't, they hated me. And the people at the care home were nice but they didn't even notice how easily I got scared of things like you did" she said, "we do love you Teej" Alex said, "oh boy we do" Perrie added, "I love you too" she smiled and gave them a hug.

Perrie and Alex were extremely proud of the young girl who had become so close to them in such a short space of time, they were overjoyed that she was comfortable around them and they wanted to always keep her safe. They may have only known her for three days but she certainly held a huge space in their hearts.
