12. Meeting your parents

Ponyboy:
Your parents would love him. They thought he was bad news at first because he was a greaser, but after you invited him over for dinner, and they got to know him, they adored him. Your mother loved how he talked about you, and your father loved that he was studious and doing well in school.

Sodapop:
Your mother would LOVE him. Your father was a little skeptical. Your mother fell in love with his charisma and good-looks, but your father had been to the DX before and had seen how girls were all over him. He was a little nervous that he might be tempted by those girls, but other than that, he liked him.

Darry:
Your father and him would get along great. Your mother would be a little concerned. Your father likes how he was a responsible, mature person. Your mother liked him as well, but she was a little nervous that he would be too caught up with his brothers and the rest of the gang to pay enough attention to you.

Two-Bit:
Your mother didn't like him at first, but he grew on her. Your father isn't a big fan of his. Your mother didn't like how he made everything a joke, but he started growing on her after she saw how fast one of his jokes could turn one of your frowns into a smile. Your father thinks he's immature, and doesn't like how he doesn't take many things seriously.

Steve:
Your mother liked him. Your father LOVED him. Your mother thought he was adorable, and liked how he was protective of you. Your father was very into cars, so him and Steve were like two peas in a pod.

Johnny:
Your parents would love him. They weren't sure at first, because he was quiet, but after you explained to them about his parents and how he was beaten by the Socs that one time, they understood, and they basically adopted him into your family.

Dally:
Your parents 100% DID NOT approve of your relationship with Dally. They had heard all about his criminal record, and how many girls he had been with, and they didn't want you to end up as another notch on his belt. (But you didn't care, and continued dating him anyway.)
