"Liv! Olivia!"I heard Grandpa calling me and shaking me to wake up"Grandpa, I'm tired,"I replied mumbling
"Olivia Noel Fleming I have to tell you something very important,"Grandpa said. I knew he was serious this time because he just said my full name so, I looked at him.
"Liv your mom and Amy went to get a horse-"Grandpa started
"-Spartan?!,"I asked grandpa excitedly and interrupting him.
The thing is Amy had an idea to save Spartan and she convinced mom. I wanted to tag along but mom said it was too risky and that it would be way past my bedtime.
"Yes Spartan,"Grandpa continued
"Where is he? Are they back yet?"I asked excitedly again. I was just so excited to meet Spartan!
"The thing is Liv on the way back they got in a accident,"He explained very seriously. My smiled dropped in an instant.
"They are going to be ok right?"I asked Grandpa concerned.
"Well we are going to the hospital right now to check on Amy"Grandpa replied
"What about mom?"I asked
I could tell he started to tear up but tried to hold them back.
"Your mother did not make it dear. I'm so sorry,"He said. Right at that moment my whole world shattered. I cried until we got to the hospital. I was just having tears roll out of my pink puffy eyes. We finally made it to the waiting room. When we got there the doctor explained Amy's condition to Grandpa. Not too long someone I have not seen in a VERY long time arrived and honestly I'm not too happy with her. I never have...
I could not believe my eyes it was Lou standing right in front of us. She then was walking towards us. She hugged Grandpa and cried. She then wanted to hug me but I turned away.
"Liv really? During a time like this you can't pull through?"She asked
"How could I?" I mumbled. I then turned to her.
"She's dead!" I turned and shouted at her.
Lou was actually quite shocked on how I reacted. A lot of people ended up staring at us. Lou then shook it off rolled her eyes and sat back down. I muffled in my cries.
After a while the doctor allowed us to see Amy so Grandpa led us to Amy's room.
"They're helping her breathe but, her vital signs are stable. They just can't guarantee that she'll come through the next 24 hours, it's critical,"Grandpa explained to Lou.
"Does Dad know?"Lou asked. My head popped up. The things I've never met my dad.
Grandpa did not respond to Lou in any which way or form.
"Come on Grandpa he's got the right,"Lou said
"He lost that right a long time ago,"Grandpa replied as we approached Amy's room.
There she was lying there in bed with tons of cuts and bruises it looked awful!
"What happened to her face?" Lou asked
"A windshield. They told me she was lucky but your mother...."Grandpa trailed off
"Not so much,"I finished the sentence for him. It is a really tough pill to swallow. I'm not sure if this really processed my mind. I'm thinking when I get home there she'll be saying everything is alright. It's to bad to be true. It's a nightmare and I'm just hoping I'll wake up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A/N: Hi everyone my name is Daniela and this is my first Heartland fanfic ever. I've noticed there is no sibling fanfics of heartland (if so there is only 2 other ones) and I wanted to be the first to write a really long fanfic about it. Which means I hope i can go through with this fanfic until Liv has her own family(so pretty much an adult life). This fanfic will follow through her family, family drama, romance, and friend drama and everything else that is a part of growing up. I hope you enjoy this fanfic as much as I do. By the way the horse in the cover is not her horse but, I chose the pic because she resembles the heartland family.
