My punishment: to socialize?

"Uh oh is right young lady. I received a call from your principal don't think I am really pleased with your actions,"Grandpa stated upset. Oh great now I'm really in trouble.
"Who's the bad guy now,"Ty teased
Ok this guy is getting annoying.
"Keep it to yourself,"Grandpa said annoyed
"We'll discuss this inside come on,"Grandpa said to me
"Stop laughing about this. When I come back this place better be done,"Grandpa said turning to Ty
"What that's not enough time,"Ty started to protest
"It's more than enough time,"Grandpa said then we started to head inside home. God knows if we'll have some kind of talk or punishment more than likely both.

So turns out grandpa of course was very upset about my action that brought attention and my action of skipping school. Turns out I had to help Ty finish mucking out the stalls. My 'punishment' is going to the sleepover with Penelope and Taylor. Ok ok I know that isn't much of a punishment that's why I quoted it. It's just Grandpa wanted me to get out and socialize more. Isn't Mallory enough? Well it's been a while since we've talked the last time I saw her was when we took Amy home from the hospital. I really like my friends I'm just tired of this pity party ugh!

Next Morning

The next morning I woke up and walked to the kitchen to find grandpa and Lou looking out the window. 'What for?'I wondered
"How long has she been out there?"Lou asked grandpa
"She was already out when I got up,"Grandpa replied
'Who's out?'I wondered
Ty then came up
"What's she doing?"Ty asked
"She's trying to get that horse to join up,"Grandpa replied
"Just like mom did,"I stated coming to see the window but I'm too short so I stand on my tippy toes. Lou just gave me a sympathetic smile and grandpa just rubbed my shoulder for sympathy.
"How?"Ty asked
"You keep driving him around that pen long enough he'll figure out who's boss,"Grandpa replied
"What if he doesn't?"Ty asked grandpa. gee lots of questions!
"Well keep driving him till he does,"Grandpa replied
"Let's get to work,"Grandpa motioned to Ty
"But what about breakfast?"Ty asked
"Huh you want breakfast in bed? sleep in the kitchen,"Grandpa said
Lou and I gave a look to Ty. I mean when your on the ranch and duty calls in the morning you got to get up go early. You snooze you lose.
As the day went by I went to do some barn chores like usual. Then I went back to my room to pack. I heard the home phone go off. Grandpa called me over saying the call was for me.
"Grandpa I really don't want to-"I started
"You have to socialize,"Grandpa reminded me part of my 'punishment'. I slight groaned as I grabbed the phone from grandpa.
L-Liv
M-Mallory

L- Hello who is it?
M-It's Mallory
L-Oh hi Mallory what's up

I said as I walked to my room I knew this conversation would take a while.

M- the real question is what is up with you Liv?
L-what makes you question that ?
M-I heard what happened
L-What How?!
M-Connections Liv connections..also remember we live in a small town hello everyone knows everyone
L-makes sense but it doesn't sound like it what people say
M-that you stood up in anger and shouted ready to beat Victoria and Wes?
L-Ok..maybe it is what it sounds like but I had a good excuse.
M-What could possibly be such a good excuse to bring more attention to yourself!
L-Wes and Victoria were really pushing my buttons
M- how bad could they even be? It's not like middle school. Which is waayy worse!
L-They called me the girl with the dead mom
M-wow that's low! Talk about no respect!
L-You're telling me! Hey Mallory when are you making your way here?
M-I could come today if you'd like?
L-no no don't worry I'm off to a sleepover Mallory
M-a sleepover without me! I'm offended! We need to do one to catch up!
L-yes we'll arrange that soon
M-until then I'll come swing by tomorrow?
L-yeah sounds good
M-already see you tomorrow bye
L-Bye Mallory see you tomorrow!
As soon as we hung up Grandpa was calling for me reminding me of the sleepover. I had to hurry or else we'd be late or really just me honestly. I put my backpack and sleeping bag in the trunk of the truck. I then went in the truck and grandpa drove off .
"Hey is everything alright in school?"Grandpa sled concerned
"According to the principal no,"I replied
"I don't need to hear it from the principal. I need to hear it from you,"Grandpa stated
"Well no Grandpa. I guess when one is at their weakest point you become an easy target,"I said
"Well life is no sunshine and lollipops one must move past the negativity. You can't let any of that get to you because you're just giving them what you want. Be strong and prove them wrong you won't hand anything to them,"Grandpa said
"Thanks grandpa,"I replied
After a while we finally arrived at Taylor's House seems like Fallon already arrived. When grandpa dropped me off I grabbed my bag and sleeping bag.
I walked up to Taylor's house I didn't even have to ring the doorbell Taylor's mom already opened the door to me and gave a wave to my grandpa as he drove off.
"Hello Mrs. White I'm here for the sleepover,"I informed her
"Oh yes the girls are upstairs in Taylor's room,"Mrs. White informs me
"Thank you Mrs.White,"I said ready to take off but Mrs. White stops me.
"Hey um Liv how are you?"she asked me
"I'm doing better thank you,"I replied awkwardly
"I'm so sorry it's very tragic to hear that happened I was shocked when I received the news,"Mrs. White said sympathetically
"Yes it was quite a shock to everyone I appreciate the sympathy thanks,"I said then I took off upstairs to meet up with Taylor and Fallon. PLEASE no more pity party. Ok let's gets this slumber party started!

A/N: here's another chapter hope y'all enjoyed it! Almost done with the first episode then I'll skip to the 11th episode where Liv finally meets Tim/ her dad for the very first time in her life,unless any of y'all request an episode before that episode I'll do it. Sometimes with this fanfic I'll go according to the episode like this or I'll do it differently it all depends. Poor Liv is even struggling in school hope she pulls through eventually maybe this slumber party will help her get her mind off of things(let's wait and see) Hope y'all like this chapter and merry Christmas (kinda late by a couple minutes lol).
