As I was lying down in my bed shocked I heard Lou arguing with grandpa over mom not paying the bills and how she's staying and the dishes.

"Why the hell did mom and Amy had to go to Melin's (A/N: not sure if that's correct)farm?"Lou asked angrily

"It's what your mom did Lou. She saved horses who were in trouble,"Grandpa replied to Lou calmly

"In the middle of the night? In the middle of the storm? That creepy farm!"Lou started ranting angrily but what stopped her was Amy closing the door to the room right next to mine.

For once I agreed with Lou. I mean I do understand the part about rescuing Spartan but, I d agree with Lou of why did they have to do it in the middle of the night during a storm. If there was no storm that horse would not be spooked. If it was during the day I could've came and help prevent the accident. All of this could of been prevented! But when it comes to rescuing horses mom and Amy would always be the first ones there no matter what even if it included risking their lives. I always looked up to them for that but, all in all I wish it did not happen at all.

This morning I decided I needed to get away. Whenever I'm feeling down I go on a ride with Symphony she loves it too. So got up early in the morning got dressed, grabbed a quick snack out of the fridge and went to Symphony to tack her up. We were then out of here. I decided that we would go to my mom's favorite place and Symphony's of course as well. When we got there I sat down under a tree and watched the field of wild flowers it was absolutely gorgeous and perfect. Now I know why mom loves this place! I took a piece a paper and pen and started writing a letter to mom. I decided that when I was finished I would tie it onto a balloon and hoping it would fly to heaven. (A/N: The letter will be on the next page if you are interested if not you can skip it).

I have been out here for a while and it has been wonderful. This is the best place where I let my emotions out no matter what's going on in my life. And this time being has been very important to me. I heard some walking next thing I knew I felt her muzzle right on my shoulder. I hugged her muzzle.

"Yeah I know I agree Symphony it's time to go back, Good girl! Lets go!"I exclaimed getting on her and we rode back. When we arrived back home I saw grandpa and Scott dealing with a horse. Based on what I'm hearing I'm guessing this was Spartan and boy he was very traumatized!

"hmmm so this is Spartan' i thought to myself but suddenly my thoughts changed unexpectedly

'So your the horse who killed my mom' I thought angrily in my head. I've never ever been so upset at a horse in my entire life but, I guess this one I'm holding a grudge on.

"There you are!"I heard someone said almost upset. I turned around to see Lou.

"Yeah and?"I asked wanting her to get to the point

"We were worried sick. Thinking you were lost. Liv you could of been kidnapped!"Exclaimed Lou

"You mean YOU were worried Lou. Does not look like anyone else here was,"I said

"Well grandpa kind of was too,"Lou replied

"Grandpa looks fine to me without a worry in the world except for that horse,"I replied looking at them trying to deal with Spartan

"Look Lou this is not the first time I go out on a trail ride by myself,"I informed her

"Well you have to ask permission first and inform someone where you're headed because anything could happened,"Lou said

"Mom was fine with it,"I replied

"The system in this house is so unorganized and irresponsible. Anything could happen to you since your a-"Lou started

"Little kid. Nice to know that is what you think of me. Just so you know Lou I'm not the same age as when you left!"I exclaimed taking off. I put Symphony in the paddock to cool her off. I then decided to put food in Symphony's stall so when she comes back in.

I walked back out to see the progress of that horse and why Amy and mom wanted to save this horse so bad.

I heard Lou was trying to talk with Scott but Grandpa interrupted them

"I think you two can finish this conversation later,"Grandpa mentioned to them

"Why'd you bring him here Grandpa?"Amy asked

coming out of nowhere behind us.

"Well I figured you and this horse have a lot in common,"Grandpa replied to Amy

"Your wrong," Amy replied

I honestly do not see what Spartan and Amy have in common. I was not sure what Grandpa was talking about.
