"Last Christmas I was home from New York and my mom wanted Amy, Liv and I to go for a ride. It was 25 below. But to mom it was a perfect day to go on a ride. What's the perfect part mom?"Lou asked

"She laughed and said no flies. I try to tell myself she lived an amazing life and that she died doing what she loves. I just wish she didn't have to die so soon,"Lou finished

It was then my turn to talk. I just don't know how I'm going to talk in front of everyone admitting that this tragedy has taken over. In the end it is all for mom because I love and miss her dearly.

Here it goes...

"Something that my mom always told me is that you have to fall 2o times in able to become a true rider. So unlike the other kids whenever I fell I was excited and happy because each time I was getting closer to become a true rider like her. I wanted to become just like her and I still want to. She always had a positive outlook. I will never forget how brave, courageous, and selfless she was because she always put the most loyal animals lives first before her. How she passed was very heroic of her and it comforts me knowing she passed doing what she loved first but, like Lou said I just wish it was later rather than sooner. I love and miss her so much already I just don't know....I love you mommy"I started breaking down in tears. I knew that I could not finish this speech. Lou then hugged me and tried comforting me.

We made it back to the hospital Amy was at. I was sleeping periodically on the chair. As Grandpa sat on the chair. Lou though was pacing the room while being glued onto her phone.

"It's like your glued to that thing,"I said to Lou

"I have to take care of some business, you'll understand when you are older," Lou replied. I did not even want o deal with it so I rolled my eyes and shook it off.

After what seemed forever Amy finally started to wake up.

"Lou what are you doing here?" Amy said confused trying to sit up. Lou rushed to Amy

"Sh shh,"Lou tried calming Amy down

"Careful try not to get up too quick," Grandpa instructed. I then rushed to Amy's side as well.

"Amy"I exclaimed. I'm was so glad she was awake.

"Where am I?" Amy asked

"You're in the hospital sweetie,"Lou replied to Amy

"Where's mom?"Amy asked.

I looked away no way I wanted her to see me cry. Lou and Grandpa exchanged looks. "Amy there was a uh accident..."Grandpa started . Amy then saw the look on our faces and that's when she knew.

"No! No! Noo!" Amy said very upset and jittery.

Grandpa was driving us back home. It was a very quiet and uncomfortable ride. It was uncomfortable because us four squished in a truck that can only have three passengers but I'm still a kid who's tiny so I can squeeze in anywhere.

"Here we are Amy, back home,"Grandpa said

We then pulled up to the house and there was Mallory right then and there at the entrance she such a good friend.

"You're here. I've been waiting and waiting,"Mallory said we then gave each other a quick hug.

"Hey Mallory,"Lou said

"We got her back as quick as we could,"Grandpa said.

Amy and I stayed silent.

"So glad your home,"Mallory said relieved hugging Amy

"Yeah,"Amy replied

"My mom and dad say hi. They're going to call you guys later," Mallory said

Lou, Amy and I then walked in. Amy wandered in the house as Lou was telling her about Amy's friends who were calling and texting her. I just wanted to go in my room so, I went there and lied down in my bed. I lied in my bed in shock of what just happened.
