RAVI Director X — It was written in bold letters, but with full emphasis on his name. Ravi. Lyca was on her perfect physical back posture with her head straight, directly facing the man in front of her. The guy seemed to be very broody. Well that's the closest adjective Lyca could think of. Even the room itself where they're at, was as ruminant as this guy infront of her. Lyca couldn't spot anything immersing in this room, this space seemed too dull, dark and gloomy.
It was a bit too late when she realized that she shouldn't be meeting his cold gaze, instead Lyca should have greeted her senior. Before even starting her sentence, Ravi cut her off with his dark eyes gazing roughly at her.
Chills.
It's strange to feel goose bumbs when you're dead, actually.
Thick brows, tan complexion and jett hair gelled perfectly, Ravi grimaced. "LCG72, Grim Reaper's Academy. Batch 30, Class 17, ranked 100 out of 100 in your class—"
She defended herself— She means, baka isipin pa nilang bobo siya. Well, may mas bobo pa sa kaniya. Rank 100 for example.
"Well I see, rank 99. Your records are pretty," he skipped a beat. "Bad— Awful for clarity." Ravi said while his eyes were on the folder reading her record. "One month of service and still you haven't fetch any souls yet?"
Nervous and tensed, Lyca nodded.
"Your weekly souls journal had not been kept up to date for the last six weeks. Both your mid month and end of the month reports to the department head were late."
Napayuko siya. "Hindi naman ganoon ka-late, Sir. It took a day behind than expected, but it still managed to join the ride," she even had the nerve to smile.
"In case you forgot, the midmonth report was due on the 14th but you turned it on the 17th. The end of month report was due on the 29th but you turned it on the 5th of this month. Is that a work of a competent employee?"
The guy remained silent for a while on his swivel chair, fixing his black neck tie. His thick brows were greeting each other, a nonverbal motion that he's probably angry... definitely annoyed.
'Yan kasi sumasagot pa, Lyca lectured herself.
"As was explained to you on numerous occasions since you began to work here, the weekly souls Journals are used as the basis for reporting to the Council for the granting of the annual budget of each headquarters. The lateness of your report has caused this quarter's report to the Council to be filed a week past the deadline," Ravi said, almost sounded like a chide.
