The massive blade was inches before him ready to crumble him to dust, but he didn't even bother to flinch. Instead, the guy gave Lyca a fixed intent look. His eyes settled for a while examining Lyca's face before it drifted down to her scythe.

Tuluyan ng nakita ang mukha nito at ang mga matang susigaw ng kulay pula. Kitang-kita ang ngisi nito nang tuluyan mamukhaan siya.
'We met again and you're done.' That was Betina's eyes were saying.
Bago pa man makarating ang mga Council Guard ay hinawakan siya ng lalaki sa bewang. Crushing her body against him and face pressed upon his chest.
"What are you doing!" She whimpered.
Mas hinigpitan nito ang hawak sa bewang niya para pigilan siya sa pagpupumiglas.
