Chat Noir disappears for a while but Adrien is still around. Ladybug being worried starts searching for her missing partner. But when he shows up one day, something is off and Ladybug tries to figure out what happened.

Adrien sat in the car putting on his seat belt. He opened his bag and reached in feeling around searching for his ring. He couldnt feel it, his eyes widen, he opened his bag and started searching in a panic. His ring was no longer in there. "Go back!" He yelled looking at the driver. He turned the car around and went back to the park.
Marinette and Alya had already left, walking back to the bakery. "You should tell him how you feel, or at least ask him on a date." Alya said looking at her friend. Marinette looked worried, her eyes huge and her heart racing, "Do you know how wrong that could go?? What if he rejects me! He'll never talk to me again because hes going to think im weird, and he wont hang out with us, he wont even look at me!!!!That would be it! I live the rest of my life alone with 1000 cats and no one wants to be friends with a crazy cat lady so ill also lose you, and ill be a disappoint for my parents so i wont have them either!!!!" Marinette inhaled the air trying to calm herself. Alya laughed shaking her head. "For one, i would still be friends with you, if you had 1000 cats, we just wouldnt hang out at your house." She smiled. Marinette laughed.
Adrien searched the water, he looked around the floor, around the bench, in the bushes, his ring was no where to be found. His heart was beating so fast, he felt like he could have a heart attack. Where could it be? He was sure he had put in his bag, he doubled checked everywhere. Did Alya or Marinette see it? Did they pick it up and were going to give it to him tomorrow, or did they not realize it was his? He took out his phone and texted Marinette.
Adrien: Did you happen to see my sliver ring while you were at the park?
Marinette and Alya went up to Marinette's room. Marinette felt her phone vibrate, she turned on the screen. Her heart went full speed seeing Adrien's name. She threw her bag on the chair, making the pocket fly open and the ring dropped onto the ground rolling over under the desk against the wall. Marinette jumped on her couch and opened the message. "What's got you so excited?" Alya asked raising an eyebrow. "Adrien texted me!!! He asked if we saw his ring at the park. Do you remember seeing it anywhere?"
Marinette tried to think back to the park, if she hadnt seen anything laying around on the ground, but she was way to focused on Adrien to notice anything else. Alya shook her head, "Maybe he left it as his house, or in his locker and just didnt realize it." Alya suggested.
Marinette: We didnt see anything. Did you leave at your house??
Marinette was blushing at her screen. She had gotten an idea, they could go to the park and search with him, she could spend the day wit Adrien. And maybe if she found it, he would be so grateful he might even start to like her. Marinette jumped up onto her feet in excitement, a huge smile on her face. "What did he say?" Alya asked, looking at her over excited friend. "We should help him find it!!" This was it, this the day she might make real progress, shes determined to find that ring! Alya laughed shaking her head, "Didnt you need to do something right now?" Alya said reminding her friend.
She had totally forgot all about Chat Noir! She was suppose to be there in 10 minutes, she let out a sigh and fell back onto the couch. Alya chuckled, "I should get home. Good luck with your homework." Alya walked out.
Tikki flew looking at the clock, "We should get going Marinette, Chat Noir might be there already." Tikki said flying to the window. Marinette shut her eyes and let out a groan, "I could have helped Adrien today!!" Her phone went off and she quickly sat up looking at the new text.
Adrien: No, i took it off before the photo shoot.
"We need to go Marinette." Tikki said pointing at the time. Marinette sighed again standing up. She stared down at her phone for a moment. She missed Adrien, she wanted to be with him, help him when he needed help, be there for him. Maybe she could just ask Chat to do the patrol on his own. She was sure one night wouldnt kill him. "Tikki spots on!" Marinette said transforming into Ladybug.
"It has to be here, it has to be here." Adrien kept whispering to himself. He searched and searched, but it was getting harder as night had already fallen. He was suppose to meet Ladybug right now, now shes going to think he stood her up, and shell be angry, making her go on patrol alone. He sighed rubbing the back of his neck. He lost his Miraculous, how could e be so dumb. His ring was no where in the park, there was nothing left for him to do. He had a heavy feeling in his chest, if he stayed any longer his father would be upset, he'd be grounded and that he'll never find it if his locked up at home.
Ladybug got to the park just as Adrien got into his car. Ladybug looked around, searching for the black cat that could be wandering the park. She didnt see Adrien, so maybe he found his ring and didn't need her anymore. That thought felt like a slap to the face, she wanted to help him, she should have just came late. She sighed heavily and sat on the bench waiting for her partner.
20 minutes passed by and there was no sign of Chat Noir. Did he forget? Or had something important come up? Helping Adrien was important but Ladybug manged to show up. She looked around at the empty park, the shadows of the trees, of the water fountain in the center. She looked around all the building around the park, no Chat. She shook her head annoyed, he didn't even show up! She could have been with Adrien! She pulled out her yoyo and went to do the patrol on her own. He owes her big time.
