Marinette walked into class the next morning, she was so tired. Usually her and Chat would split up to check around the town and get it done quicker. But last night he never showed up so she did all by herself. She laid her head on her desk and slowly shut her eyes trying to get a bit of rest.

Adrien walked into class, hes heart still heavy, he couldnt believe he had been so careless. His miraculous was gone forever, he'll never see Plagg again, or talk to Ladybug like before. He screwed up taking that ring off, now anyone can find it and take his place. Of course people would notice, but would they care that the old Chat Noir was gone? And if they did what could they do? Would Ladybug miss him? Or would she end up falling for the new Chat Noir? He sighed as he sat down putting his head on the desk not wanting to socialize today.

Alya and Nino looked at each other concerned. Alya gently placed a hand on Marinette's back, "Hmm?" Marinette said not removing her head from the desk. "Whats got you tired? Was your homework that hard?" Alya asked. Marinette tried to respond but she didnt have the energy to.

"Hey bro, are you alright?" Nino asked concerned. Adrien lifted his head and tried to cover his stressed expression. "Im fine i just lost something, its gone now, and ill never get it back." He said truthfully. "Well what did you lose?" Nino asked. "My ring, my friend gave it to me and it was very important to me." The teacher walked in and class had started.

After school Nino walked up to Alya and Marinette, who had a little more energy from the nap in class. "Hey Nino." Marinette said smiling, Alya waved. "What was wrong with Adiren today?" Alya asked. Marinette heart skipped as she quickly looked at Alya. "What do you mean?" Marinette asked quickly before Nino could respond to the question. Alya shook her head with a smirk on her face, "Youre hopeless, you would have noticed if you didnt sleep through class." Alya turned back to Nino waiting for his response. Marinette began to look for Adrien, to see what they were talking about. Maybe he didnt find his ring and gave up.

"He said he lost his ring, i guess it was really important to him." Nino said sadly. Marinette jumped in the middle between Alya and Nino grabbing both their hands and started walking. Nino looked to Alya for an answer to where they were going, Alya shrugged her shoulders then looked to Marinette who kept leading the way. She finally stopped in park by the fountain to where they had been the day before. "What are we doing?" Alya asked crossing her arms. Marinette smiled, "we're going to find Adrien's ring. We have to help somehow, we cant just let our friend be sad. We have to try!" Marinette said happily.

So they looked around, behind the bushes, in the grass, behind tress, in the water. After about 30 minutes of their search, Adrien came to look as well. He looked surprised to see them there. "Hey guys, what are you doing?" He asked confused. Marinette started smiling wildly, so Alya answered the question. "We're looking for your ring. It was Marinette's idea." Alya said smiling at Marinette. Adrien looked toward her with a grateful smile, "Thanks Marinette." He said happily. Marinette started blushing then looked down rubbing the back of her neck. "No problem." She said shyly.

So then, the four of them searched for the missing miraculous. And as minute went by with no luck, the feeling in Adrien's chest became heavier, and he worried that it was gone forever even more. Marinette and Nino began asking people if they saw the silver ring anywhere, but still there was no luck. Adrien feared that he was no longer the hero of Paris, he was no longer Chat Noir, and he would never be again.
