Chat Noir disappears for a while but Adrien is still around. Ladybug being worried starts searching for her missing partner. But when he shows up one day, something is off and Ladybug tries to figure out what happened.

Ladybug ran out the door of the bakery, she quickly ran to her bedroom window. The Howler was no longer there, she quickly turned her head around to try and find where he went. She then heard the screams of man, she quickly turned to the pack of dogs, all growling at her, she took a step back. She heard hard breathing right behind her, she knew what it was. Her body went cool, and her heart felt as if it stopped. She quickly threw her yoyo at the light post swinging away quickly without turning around. The dogs began barking and surround the light. The Howler chasing after her, she quickly looked around swing onto the building of a roof. She need a plan, she needed Chat Noir. The akuma was obviously one of the treats, but she needed to get the bag to break it.
If Chat were here, they could lead the Howler away from his pack, then one of them could distract him( It would be Chat) and the other could grab his bag and find and break the akuma. She sighed, but he isnt here, she looked around hoping to see him running toward her but never the less nothing happened. She turned back to see the Howler jumping onto the same roof, his teeth razor sharp, the drool dripping to the ground. It was a full moon, perfect set up. He howled then the sound of barking followed. His pack came running to the building.
He looked at Ladybug, she threw her yoyo toward him. He grabbed the string pulling hard making her fall forward hitting the ground. He jumped toward her trying to capture her under him but she quickly rolled over to the other side before he landed. She again tried throwing her yoyo , this time aiming for the bag. The Howler smacked it away, then charging at her. She quickly jumped over him, close to the edge of the building. The dogs below barking, teeth baring, waiting for her to fall.
She looked around, still no cat. Maybe he was too afraid of the dogs. No he would have been here, hes always here. Unless, her face went pale, maybe he was eaten or turned. But that means Hawk Moth must have his miraculous. Without paying attention, the Howler swung his claw at her making her fall back and off the building. The dogs bark grew quickly, she took out her yoyo throwing it into the window of the building, swinging in. Her heart was racing, she needed something, something to defeat it alone. Then she needs to find out where Chat is. She threw her yoyo in the air, "Lucky Charm!" She yelled. A ball came falling in her hands. She looked around the room, nothing glowed. She sighed, the Howler busted through the huge window on the other wall. The glass covered the floor, she pulled out her yoyo and tossed it around his arm then pulled, but he was stronger than her and pulled himself making her crash onto the glass. She hopped up quickly.
Adrien paced the room, he couldnt sit with Marinette's parents. He looked at the picture of her on the wall, it was her and Alya. Shes holding up the peace sign smiling, her smile showing her white teeth. Alya is the one who took the photo. He stared at Marinette's eyes, the blue. He remembered her,checking the alley. Hes no hero, letting her go off alone. She'll think his a coward now. He sighed. He needed to do something, he cant sit here doing nothing. he needed to help Ladybug, help find Marinette. Chances are she was already a dog, like Nino and Alya. He needed to help them. He walked over to Marinette's parents, he needed to lie. "I think i might know where Marinette is, do you have a car i could use to go get her?" He asked nervously. He had an idea where she is, but she is no longer Marinette. "Yes, where? Ill go with you!" Her dad said quickly standing up walking over to grab the keys. "I need to go alone, it will be faster to grab her then leave without getting caught." Marinette's father didnt look pleased, but he sighed in defeat. He handed Adrien the keys. Adrien went out side to the blue truck. He got in and turned on the car and drove off to find Ladybug.
She jumped out the window, forgetting the pack that waited for her landing, she jumped to the other window seal. The Howler slipped an arm out the window almost scratching her arm. Her earrings beeped, 4 minutes. She sighed. She was running out of time. She looked at the tennis ball, she looked around, nothing yet. Time was running out. "Ladybug!" She heard a voice call. But not any voice, a voice she knew too well. She smiled, relief filled her chest as she looked down, it was Adrien. Her chest dropped again, for a second she thought Chat had finally came, she must have got it confused. She probably was hoping too much it was him, it could have been anyone's voice she got confused with. The dogs noticed him and quickly made there way to him. Thats when the truck turned red with black dots, then the ball in her hand. "Drive and dont stop!" She yelled. He drove off quickly, understanding what she was doing as he saw her look at the item in her hand. She whistled getting the pack's attention. The Howler's arm went back inside disappearing. She waved the ball in there air before throwing it toward the truck. The ball bounced until it landed in the back. The pack quickly chased after it. She felt a wet drop land on her cheek, she looked up and the Howler was looking down at her. She jumped down landing on the street, she looked up waiting for him to join her. Her earrings beeped, 3 minutes.
He jumped down, landing on all fours. She smiled, swing her yoyo around in a circle. She quickly threw it, walking forward. He blocked it and she threw it again getting closer. She jumped toward her and she jumped back throwing her yoyo around his wrist, then quickly jumping around him tying him up so he was trapped. He struggled to get free, but it was no use. "Good boy." She said smiling walking over to the treat bag. She pulled out the akuma and broke the treat in two. The akuma flew out she quickly pulled free her yoyo leaving Tommy on the fall rubbing his head. She caught the akuma with her yoyo before it flew off. And the white butterfly went free. Adrien came around the corner, in the truck. He parked it by Ladybug. She hopped in and pulled the tennis ball. "Miraculous Ladybug!" She yelled throwing it up in the air. Everything went back to normal.
She smiled at Adrien, "Good job." She smiled blushing. "We make a good team." He said scratching the back of his head. Her earrings beeped. "I need to go, thanks for the help." She said before swinging off. Adrien walked over to Tommy, who sat there looking around. "Lets get you home." Adrien said smiling. Tommy stood up and looked around, thats when out the alley his little puppy came running. "Spotty!" Tommy said excited. He held his puppy in the air as he started to lick it face. Adrien looked down at his hand, at his ringless finger. At least one person found what they were looking for.
