"Hey are you cold?" Alya asked rubbing her arms. Marinette noticed as well, she walked over to her window opening the curtains. Hey eyes widen at the scene. It was snowing. Snowing hard too. "Is that, snow?" Alya asked raising an eyebrow. It had to be an akuma. She needed to transform quickly Chat Noir might already be there. Wait. He might not be there at all. She had got so into Adrien she totally forgot Chat was missing. She felt the pain her chest, how could she let that slip her mind? Maybe he'll show up today. "It's probably an akuma, you should go see if you can find Ladybug." Marinette smiled. Alya pulled out her phone, "You wanna join in on the action?" Alya asked. "Knowing me i'll slip on the snow." Marinette laughed, so did Alya before running out.
Tikki came out, and flew in front of the window. "Chat might be there already." Tikki said. It was getting colder by the minute, more snow was falling. "He might not show up again. Let's just hope he's there. Tikki, spots on!" Ladybug stood in front of the window. He has to be there, he has to show up. She took in a breath and pushed on her window to open it. It was already frozen shut. She inhaled, stepped back and kicked it open. She hopped out and swung to find the creator of this winter.
She jumped into the middle of the street, people were frozen all over. The street was frozen, and cars and street lights. She rubbed her arms, she was shriving. She could she her breath. The snow was only getting heavier. She looked around trying to find the person behind all this. "Hello Ladybug." The voice, his voice, Chat was back! She quickly turned around to see a shriving Adrien. Oh. She must have heard it wrong. But thinking of it, they sound kind of the same. "What are you doing out here? You should hide before they find you." She said worried. He walked closer to her. "I thought i could help out a bit, since last time i helped." She smiled at him, it was cute he offered to help, but she didnt want him to get hurt. "Thanks for the offer, but it's my job to keep you safe. Dont worry about me, Chat Noir should be here soon." She wasn't so sure about that last part, but she need to reassure him.
He knew Chat Noir wasn't coming to help her. He wished he could tell her that. Why didn't he? It's not like keeping his identity a secret mattered anymore right? But if he tells her, that's him giving up hope on finding it. "Please let me help." He begged. She couldn't do it alone, last time was proof that she needs help. "Well well, what do we have here?" They both turned around to find the Snow Princess. Ladybug turned back to Adrien, "I need to get you out of here." She said. "I could help." he said pleading. "No one is going anywhere." Her hands began to glow again, she shot the ice their way. Ladybug grabbed Adrien's arm and dodge the shot. The wings appeared. ''Get the miraculous!" They vanished. "Please just freeze!" She shot again. Ladybug jumped onto a building with Adrien and began to run holding his arm.
She looked around, hoping to see her black kitty. But there was nothing but the snow. "Where are you Chat?" Adrien heard, guilt filled him. He had to tell her, it was cruel to keep her waiting for him, when deep down he knew he was never going to show up again. "Ladybug i need to te-"" Lookout!" She cut him off by pushing them both down as the ice flew above their heads. "Please stop running, you're going to ruin everything!" She began to freeze the ground making spikes come out. It was heading toward them. She grabbed his arm and swung her yoyo on a light post then jumped to the street. She tried going into a building, but the ice was solid on the door. "Stop trying to keep me safe and let me help." Adrien said. "I have to protect you." She said.
Using her yoyo she broke the ice and ran inside, right in time. Ice hit the side of the door frame. They ran up the stairs and into a closet. "Stay in here please." She begged looking at Adrien. "I need to tell you something." He said. She was about to ask what. "Where did you go?" She heard the girl call from down stairs. "I have to go." She shut the door without another word and ran down stairs. "Where were we?" She asked meeting eyes with the Snow Princess. Her hands glowed again, she shot her ice full blast, Ladybug jumped out of the way just in time. She landed on her knees but quickly got up. She swung her yoyo blocking the ice shots. She needed a plan and fast.
He couldn't stay in the closet and hide like a coward. He was Chat Noir, even without the mask. The hero of Paris. He grabbed a broom taking off the bottom part. It's not his staff but it'll have to do. He opened the door, he could hearing the noises coming from down stairs. His hand tightened on the stick. Now or never.
"Why don't you just stay in place?" The Snow Princess asked. The floor began to freeze over Ladybug's feet, keeping her in place. She kept blocking the ice shots but she was walking towards her. The ice on her feet began to go up her legs. "Chat!" It was stupid, he wasn't going to show up, he couldn't hear her, couldn't help her. The Snow Princess fell to the floor, she was hit, the ice shots stopped coming. The ice was up to her knees know. Was Chat here?!? Did he hear her? He was ok! She put down her yoyo and saw Adrien holding a stick. He ran toward her trying to break the ice. It was half way up her thigh. "I told you stay in the closet!" She said worried. "If i had you would have lost you earrings." He was right. He saved her. Adrien her hero! Her heart fluttered. No! Not the time!
"Lucky Charm!" The Snow Princess was back up. She looked at Adrien, a tear falling from her cheek. "You-you hit me." She stammered. A pair of gloves fell in Ladybug's hands. The ice had gone up to her hip. She was running out of time. The Snow Princess raised her hands at Adrien, she shot the ice. Ladybug wrapped her yoyo around the wrists of the Snow Princess, messing up her shot. It hit the staircase, freezing the steps instantly. She wrapped the yoyo tighter making sure she couldnt pull her arms apart. "Adrien!" She threw him the gloves. He ran up to the Snow princess. Her hands glowed but before she could make the shot he covered her hands. The gloves froze instantly. Making them impossible to get off. The ice was up to her chest, about to freeze her arms. "Where's the akuma?" Adrien asked. He looked at her headband, it was the only thing he could think out. He took off ripping it apart. The akuma flew out. The ice was going up her neck and down to elbows. "The gloves!" She said quickly. He tried to rip them off but they were frozen on her hands. "They're not coming off!" he said panicking. The ice was on her chin and mid forearm. He looked around, for anything that could help. There! A coffee maker, in the waiting room. He grabbed it quickly and poured it on the gloves. He pulled with all his strength and finally they came off. The ice had gone of her bottom lip and wrists. He put them in her hand. She threw them up, they went only a few inches, "Miraculous L-Ladybug!" She said. It had cover her mouth. The red light went everywhere, unfreezing Ladybug. With her yoyo she caught the akuma.
"Thanks for the help." She said, her cheeks were red, as she rubbed the back her neck. "No problem m-Ladybug!" He said stopping himself from saying My-Lady. He has to tell her though. "Ladybug i-" Her earrings beeped, she had a minute left. Her eyes widen, "I have to go, thanks again for saving me." She ran out of the building and transformed behind a car across the street. Adrien, her hero. Her heart fluttered. No! Still not the time! "You did it Marinette!" Tikki said happily. "Chat never showed. We have to find him, one way or another." Marinette said determined.
