"Jaemin, you could at least answer me." Not many of my fellow students were in the classroom as I stood in front of Jaemin's table, my two hands on his table as he was skillfully ignoring me while swiftly packing his things.

Even though there was a lack of students in the room I still heard a few snickers echo through it.

Where were Jisoo when you needed her?

"Jaemin, for god's sake." I was near my limit, I was so close to giving up and just as I opened my mouth to say something else, someone called out - I was too lazy to actually turn around and see who did it.

"Still trying to win him over? He's already taken and clearly isn't the least interested in you." Though I couldn't place whose voice it was, it was clear it was one of the boys - it wasn't Jihoon though, he had been absent the whole day.

"Mind your own business." My voice was just above a mumble and I wasn't quite sure if the person who just let that statement out even heard me, but I really didn't care as I turned my attention back to Jaemin.

He was already done packing his things and was standing up which meant I was about to lose this day's chance of getting him to answer me.

"Jaem-" And he was out of the classroom.

The few snickers did catch the attention of the other guy who was standing outside and Donghyuck poked a head inside the classroom, his attention mainly on the group, his eyebrows raised.

My head shook from side to side, hoping he'd understand he shouldn't say anything, and he shrugged his shoulders as I made my way towards him, out of the classroom.

Just as I was about to greet him I saw that his eyes weren't on me, but on Jaemin and Jeno standing on the other side of the hallway, chatting.

"He's a jerk to times. But I'd say give him time, he's confused." A small smile tugged at my lips at his words, and this time it was my turn to shrug.

He then turned to me and wrapped me into a side hug, keeping his arm around my shoulder.

"Surprised you aren't making fun of me like everyone else." After those words had left me I started making my way towards my locker to drop off the books I didn't need for our studying.

   "Well you didn't make fun of me in fifth grade when I confessed to that girl-" It was so obvious that he had forgotten her name, which I think was a bit amusing if you think about the fact that he was almost obsessed with her back in the day, and I was quick to interrupt him;

   "Min."

As he leaned against the locker he nodded his head, not taking his eyes off me as I stuffed my locker with the few textbooks I didn't need.

"Yeah, her, you didn't make fun of me when I was rejected. Also I don't think it's something you should joke about." Actually I was happy Donghyuck didn't make fun of me, he could be a bit harsh to times - towards others, not me.

Anyways, I was happy to have a friend like him to rely on, and joke around with at the same time.

"You're so much nicer than the teachers make you up to be." Those words left me without me actually intending to say them, and a chuckle left him.

"Sh, don't let anyone know." A small giggle left my lips as he winked, and his hand moved to ruffle my hair, something Jaemin did a lot as well - no, don't think about him, Eunju.
