"He's so fun to be around and just so nice towards everyone in general."

Even though I knew it was a bad thing to do, I stopped in pace as I heard Eunju's voice, and instead of just continuing to walk like I should, I, Jeno, leaned against the wall right beside the door leading into the classroom, eavesdropping.

With still one earbud in, I felt myself lean closer to the door as another familiar voice reached my ears, and my fingers drummed on the book I was embracing.

"You're in too deep." It was Moonhee's voice, and I could just imagine Jisoo rolling her eyes like she always did when Moonhee said something obvious - I wasn't some kind of stalker, just a normal teenage boy with a slight interest in Jisoo.

Though I already knew that Eunju must've had a crush on someone, I was yet to hear who it was, and the next words leaving Jisoo almost made me choke on my own spit.

"Jaemin is nice, I agree, he wouldn't reject you directly." A small gasp-like sound left me as I clasped a hand over my mouth, not wanting to get caught, and soon my legs were moving on their own, running towards me and the guys' usual table, my thoughts going wild.

I wasn't that familiar with Eunju, but we were acquainted.

Someone had a crush on my best friend - it wasn't something unusual, but still I was a bit stunned that someone like Eunju would fall for Jaemin.

"Wow, you okay there? You're breathing like you just finished a marathon." Of course such a comment had to leave Donghyuck out of all of the guys, and that annoying grin appeared on his face as my eyes squinted in his direction, my breath getting more and more steady as I calmed down from the run.

Lee Donghyuck, the one noted as the troublemaker out of the seven of us even though the only thing he ever did 'wrong' was forget his homework, and of course some of the pranks, but other than that he was like us.

"Shut up. Jaemin, I have some really interesting news for you!" The exclamation left me excitedly, and after pushing Renjun to the side slightly, I got myself squeezed into the space beside my best friend whose eyebrows were raised.

"Are you sure you're okay?" At his question I only shushed him, too excited about what I was going to tell him, and his hands raised a bit before I had his full attention on me.

"Eunju has a thing for you." The youngest out of all seven of us started coughing, probably after choking on his juice, and I quickly glanced at Jisung who was still trying to get over his small choking.

Park Jisung, one of the younger students we had befriended, that one student who's really hard to get close to due to him being quiet, but after getting to know him it's hard to get him to shut up, and he's pretty popular because of his dancing skills.

"Eunju? That girl you talk about all the time?" It was Chenle who had asked that, causing my best friend to nod slightly, shock still lingering on his features, and I quickly glanced at the youngest of the two Chinese boys.

Zhong Chenle, that one really popular one because of his success in China and his cute looks, that really childish yet really smart one every teacher adores to bits, and the one with the honey vocals.

"E-Eunju?" It sounded like his voice got stuck in his throat, and his displeased look about the new information made me a bit stunned as I had gotten the idea of him actually having a thing for her as well, I apparently wasn't right on that one as his head started shaking from side to side.

"I.. I don't think it'll work out.." The boy's voice got a bit quieter after each word, and my eyebrows furrowed slightly, but what could I do?

If Jaemin didn't have any feelings for the girl there was nothing I really could do about it..

"What are you going to do? Are you just going to reject her?" At Mark's question Jaemin let his head move from side to side as he shook it, and I knew the words Jisoo earlier had told the other girls were true, he was too nice to turn down the other girl without any reason - well him not liking her was a reason for him not to accept, but still.

"I know this is going to sound like a bad idea and all but.." The troublemaker, proclaimed by the teachers, had started off, probably making all of us groan internally as we all knew that it'd end up badly.

Whenever Donghyuck knew that his idea equaled a bad idea, it was always at least three times as bad as he'd think it was, and we'd always end up in trouble somehow, but then when we heard his idea we couldn't help but all grin a bit crookedly.

It wasn't the worst idea yet, and it might be able to help Jaemin with rejecting the girl without hurting or humiliating the girl too much.

"Why don't you ask another girl out before you get asked out? Then you can reject her without giving her the real reason of rejection.."
