Jaemin didn't know that Eunju was planning on confessing the exact day he was planning on telling her about his new girlfriend.

Yura was one of those girls, whom no one really hated, and she happened to be in Jaemin's Korean class.

The boy knew as soon as the confession had left him that it was wrong, but it wasn't like he could back out, and he couldn't bear the thought of turning down one of his close friends.

The girl, whom he had confessed to was in utter delight as she was the one to go on a date with Jaemin, a boy quite a good amount of girls would love to date, and she was quick to mutter out a yes.

That had been exactly twenty four hours ago and now he was waiting for his girlfriend to appear as he waited in the hallway by her locker.

But instead of Yura showing up, the other girl he desperately needed to talk to did, and a crooked smile tucked at the corners of his lips when Eunju stopped in front of him.

"Hey Jaemin." The atmosphere was awkward.

There was a slight tension between the two, and Jaemin nodded his head in a small bow at his friend.

   "Hey-"

   And at the exact same time the two said the exact same words to each other;

"I have something I want to tell you."

"You tell me first, you're the girl." The only reason Jaemin let her be first was so he could think of a way to tell her that he had a girlfriend.

He didn't expect her to actually confess now.

"Okay, here goes nothing." As she said that, the other girl, his actual girlfriend, appeared right behind Jaemin, quickly grabbing onto his arm, an action the other girl didn't notice as she was busy preparing herself for the confession.

"Jaemin, I know that a lot of girls probably do this but since we're pretty good friends, I think I've seen some other sides of you." The confession was still just beginning, so the confusion had yet to disappear, and the girl right beside Jaemin whispered something to him.

"What's happening?" The boy only shrugged at his girlfriend's words, still confused, and a slight feeling of nervousness rushed through him when his mind wandered to something.

"I don't know.. Hopefully not what I think it is." The girl clinging onto his arm nodded, her grip getting tighter, and her head moved to look at the girl once again.

"Yes, you're handsome, I have to agree with what everyone says, but that's not the only thing about you, which makes you such an amazing person." Though the compliment made him a bit giddy, he still wanted to get out of this situation.

Should he make a run for it?

Or should he straight up tell her in the middle of her confession?

"Oh no.." It was only a small mumble loud enough for only Yura to hear, and the scene must've been interesting as other students, including his friends, stopped in pace just to watch what was happening.

"You're nice towards literally everyone and just so funny it sometimes hurts because of how hard I laugh. Jaemin you're generally an amazing person, and I really li-" That was the last straw for the girlfriend.

"Wow wait, Jaemin is in a relationship already." Even the students surrounding the three were surprised as small gasps erupted, but the confusion was quick to disappear as the students remembered the poor girl, who was about to get rejected.

"Wha- with who?" The boy's head dropped as small snickers started filling the humid air in the hallway, and even though Yura felt a bit bad about being the one to tell her, Eunju had to know.

"Me." Her finger landed on herself, and the other girl, the girl, who was now getting pointed at, dropped her head out of pure embarrassment.

   "Oh.."

"I'm so sorry, I was going to tell you." Those words left Jaemin just as the snickers turned into full out laughter, and Yura was quick, quick to drag her boyfriend away from the humiliating chaos.

Eunju didn't even know that that many students were listening to her confession, and she felt tears wetting her eyes, not out of sadness but out of embarrassment.

   No, her feelings weren't right.

   She didn't like him.

   She hated him.
