He Finally Comes Home!

Dan's p.o.v.
After 3 more days of Phil coming to visit, they have finally deemed me well enough to leave! He's coming to pick me up from here and then he said he has a surprise for me! I can't wait. He gets here at noon like usual I'm all packed and ready to go. I walk up to Debra and say my good-byes. "Goodbye and good luck with that one!" She has basically lived vicariously through mine and Phil's visits. I always leave out how the doctor has taken to leaving when we visit. After he does me and Phil get a little "handsey". I hear the door open and see the doctor. He's smiling directly at me. "You ready to go Howell?" Yes I am! I say it enthusiastically. I skip behind him holding my bags and a new sketchbook that Debra snuck in for me. When I see Phil u drop everything and break into a run. I jump into his waiting g arms and hug him for what feels like forever. The doctor again has to remind us he's there. "Dan, you should probably just leave." I look back at him and smile. No problem with that. I go to grab my bag but find that Phil has already gotten to it. Thank you! I grab his hand and together we walk to his car. Well he walks, I skip.
Phil's p.o.v.
After I picked Dan up from the hospital I planned on bringing him to my favorite spot on top of a hill to have a picnic. I made a split second decision to go and see a movie before hand so we can watch the sunset together. As I pull up can see him bouncing up and down in his seat like a little kid. "What movie are we watching? 50 shades darker?' Maybe... "Moana?" Maybe... "Finding Dory?" Maybe... "Which one those are the only ones?" He says this with the most adorable pouty face ever. Wait and see. I get out and go over to his door. I hold it open for him as he steps out. "Thank you!" He grabs my hand but I drop it imediatly. I walk in telling him to go sit while I buy the tickets. He does just that a little less enthusiastic. Two for 50 shades darker please? I kindly ask the young woman behind the counter. "Are you two together? She says pointing from Dan to me excitedly. Ya... Why? She let's out a super sonic screech. "That's so cute!" She hands me the tickets and I go get some snacks before walking back to Dan. You ready. "Yeah!" Okay! I lead him halfway there before I put my hand over his eyes. "Hey!" He says through his giggles. It's a surprise remember? I lead him in before I again back away. Let's sit in the back row. "Okay! Good idea!" He leads the way this time. Before either of us can sit the previews start up. Right away an advert for Moana shows. Shit... That's one down... Two more and then an advert for Finding Dory. Fuck. I glance over at Dan as he slowly realizes what this meant.
