"What's the run?" Delilah asked as she walked into the bedroom. She crawled onto the bed mindful of the bag Jax was currently packing. He was leaving for an overnight night that all the guys were going on except for Piney.

"Blood drive for the children's hospital in Eureka," Jax told her as he put on his chain that contained a single bullet. The one she had gotten him for Christmas after he told her about his first kill. Her heart fluttered at the fact he still wore that necklace.

"Well look at SAMCRO being community servants," Delilah said mockingly. She knew this wasn't just a simple blood drive.

"It's what we are all about, baby," Jax stated as he grinned at her. Jax grabbed her ankle and pulled her down to him as he leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips.

At this point, she thought Jax lived in a perpetual horny state.

"Jax, don't start something you can't finish," Delilah mumbled against his lips.

"We got time," he told her as he groped her boobs. As soon as the words left his mouth, Abel's cries echoed through the house. "I didn't think I would raise such a cockblocker for a son."

"Jax," Delilah scolded.

He only chuckled as she nudged him off her.

"I'll go get him," Jax told her. He placed another kiss on her lips before he went to get Abel.

Delilah leaned up and eyed Jax's small riding bag. Sitting up fully, she refolded the extra outfit he had packed. He really just stuffed them in. She really wondered how Jax had survived adulthood.

Jax walked in as she zipped up his bag.

"Isn't your mommy the best?" He told Abel. Jax came closer as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder and brought her into his chest. "I mean it you are the best."

"Yeah, don't forget that," Delilah told him.

Abel caused them both to laugh as he began to try and wiggle his way towards her – specifically her breasts. "Someone's hungry."

"Like father like son," Delilah commented as she took Abel.

Jax smiled as she watched Delilah and Abel leave.

This was his family.

Not his family bonded by a patch, but his family in flesh and blood.

One he created with a woman he loved.

He thought he really knew love when it was just he and Delilah. Hell, when he was with Tara, he thought that was love. With Delilah, the thought of her round with his child, he felt a whole new different type of love. But he really knew what love was when he saw Delilah holding Abel for the first time. He never considered himself a family man. He toyed with the idea as his mom pushed the idea of settling down, but now he couldn't help but think he wanted another kid sooner rather than later.

He slung his bag over his shoulder and grabs his kutte. He found Abel already situated in his high chair with a banana. Delilah was picking up the thrown bottle on the floor. His son seemed to prefer his milk to come directly from the source than through an artificial nipple.

"You leaving now?" Delilah asked.

Jax put on his kutte, "Is someone going to miss me?"

"Yeah... Abel is."

Jax laughed knowing he had that reply coming. He kissed his son on the top of his head. He inhaled the scent of lavender from Abel's shampoo. Delilah claimed it's calming for Abel. He leaned back and planned to just kiss Delilah, but she surprised him as she stood and hugged him. He returned her hug tightly. "Del, it isn't dangerous run."
