Since everything in his life has been going sideways, Lip had tried to become more vigilant and aware of what is going on around him when it came to the women in his life. With Isla, it is easy to track where she was and what she was doing. He thought he had been blessed with a daughter that didn't go out of her way to hide things. He knew this might change when she becomes a teenager, but most importantly, he thinks he has a pretty great relationship with his daughter.

For once his romantic relationship was going well. It was going pretty great he could admit. He was happy both Isla and Piper were getting along. Isla and Lyla seemed to be having their own bond outside of him. He was glad through all this drama, he had a slice of happiness.

Yet, it seemed when he got a taste of happiness, his sister's happiness was ripped away.

He didn't know how to help his sister either. She had always kept to herself. She had never been one to ask for help when it came to things. She had been like this since she was a little girl. He recognized it now as a byproduct of having junkies for parents. Many times he had to pour water on both of his parents to wake them up from a high state. He remembered watching his parents shoot up in front of him. Or worse, the times when his dad most likely would get high without his mom and the fights that followed. Then he would have to call Don, Clay, and Gemma to break them up and he and Delilah would spend days at his uncle's or the Teller-Morrow house.

And even with his sister back, he knew he couldn't intrude too much. He would be "ruffling" feathers considering that Jax was her old man now. In the eyes of the club, Delilah was Jax to handle and ultimately control. To a point, he would trust Jax to take care of his sister.

But it's been thirty minutes and his sister wasn't picking up her phone. She told him that she and Rosie were going to be crashing at her place. Then she would be back at the hospital in the morning to be with Don. She had promised to come over for breakfast and she's late. With Isla looking at him, he didn't want to worry her. With everything that had happened, his mind went to the worst. Something had happened. There was a feeling in his gut that he just knew something was wrong.

"I'm going to head to the house," he told Lyla, Isla, and Piper.

...

He headed to St. Thomas just to make sure she wasn't at the hospital and didn't find Jax's truck on the lot. In fact, the parking lot looked like a ghost town. He trailed back to her house and the driveway was empty. He got off his bike and used his extra key to check things out. Nothing seemed out of place as he checked every room.

However, as he went to check the back of the house, he noticed the busted door.

...

Delilah reminded herself to take deep and calming breaths. With the tape over her mouth, she knew better than to panic. The last thing she needed was some sort of panic attack when she was tied against a post. She's in a hot attic and the sweat was making her clothes damp.

Delilah didn't know whether to cry or scream. She wasn't scared per se. She was scared for her baby and for Rosie. Rosie had been unable to hide her crow and their captors had been happy with another person for leverage. Unlike Rosie though, she hadn't cried. She didn't whimper behind the tape.

She knew the reason she was in this attic was connected to the club. She wouldn't be surprised if this was someone they pissed off.

Considering that they were taken at night and how her legs were cramping and her butt was tingling, they had been here for at least a few hours.

She eyed her prison. It's filled with boxes like most attics. There was nothing she could use for leverage. Her feet couldn't even kick out in front of her.
