"So I hear you keep denying Kozik a patch."
Tig groaned at his granddaughter's words. The last thing he wanted to think about was Kozik considering his license was suspended for two fucking years. He thought it was a good thing he was going to prison for at least two years anyway. So no sweat off his back.
"I hope you're not being friendly with the enemy." He eyed his granddaughter, who was eating a donut in the office of Teller Morrow. Rosie had picked him up from the station to bail him out. After a quick shower, he found Lyla at the office with Delilah.
Isla laughed. "What's the saying keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."
An evil grin came across Tig's features. Maybe Isla had more Trager blood in her after all.
"Why don't you like him anyway?" She inquired.
"He got my greatest love killed."
Isla wrinkled her nose. "Huh?"
"Missy. I don't know if your mom mentioned her, but she was a beautiful Pit. I think about her every day." Tig replied. "Loved her more than your crazy fucking grandmother."
Isla snorted. "So what does Missy have to do with Kozik."
"She got hurt under his watch," Tig told her.
"So you're not going to let him patch in because of that?"
Tig nodded his head as he walked over to the desk to see what donuts Delilah did buy for them. "Wait a minute? How do you even know this?"
Isla finished off her donut. "Just hear things ya know."
Tig's eyes turned to slits. He didn't press. However, he was going to talk with Kozy and probably the prospects about their lack of filter when it came to his granddaughter. "Where's your dad?"
"Don needed him for the morning."
"Well since you're here, let me show you some things about cars."
...
Don was manning his front desk as he looked over all the research Delilah had managed to get about his new business idea. Since he was practically a babysitter and the interest in kid classes was becoming more requested, he had decided to add to the gym. Maybe opening a daycare would be a good addition to his gym. He just knew it was going to be a bitch getting all the child clearances. It was going to be a costly project that he hoped Charming would welcome especially his boxers. The few he asked seemed receptive to the idea.
It was one of the reasons he had Lip come in and train so he could get a handle on how to approach this. The front door opened, he did a glance but then did a double-take.
"What do you want, Darby?"
Darby smiled. "God, I haven't been in this place in years. It hasn't changed a bit."
Don looked at him with clear disgust. "And you thought now is a good time for a visit?"
Darby's scarred hand tapped his trophy case. "Listen, some friends of mine wanted me to encourage you to consider this generous offer to buy this place." Darby approached and handed him an envelope.
Don immediately threw it in the trash. He went back to looking at his paperwork. "Your friend isn't smart to send you to do business. Tell your friend I ain't selling."
"Come on, you know SAMCRO ain't here to protect you."
Don snorted. "Boy, I could kick your ass with my eyes closed. Don't come here with that bullshit." Don took a sip of his cranberry juice minus the vodka. "Now, I would appreciate it if your dumb ass left my gym."
